Winter is definitely here and now the cooler months are upon us it is the perfect time to consider slightly more intensive treatment options, to really elevate results.

If you know my page then you will already know Microneedling is my all time favourite treatment protocol.
I have been performing this treatment for over 25 years ! I've been a Trainer in this modality and helped launch one of very first Needling Devices in to the NZ Market so experience is vast and have performed hundreds of treatments.

My approach is not cookie cutter, each treatment is completely customised, where I use my years of experience to ensure I deliver only the best outcomes for all my clients.

This season I am putting together a package that I had great success with.

So stay turned, I am just finalising a few things and all will be revealed.

Gosh where has that time gone! It feels like only yesterday I eagerly awaiting the arrival of my very first client.

There have been moments where I didn't think I would make it (thanks COVID) but I was so dam passionate about giving this little island paradise somewhere to go that was a peaceful retreat that delivered incredible skin changing outcomes.

And here I am 4 years on and my business is going from strength to strength.
BLESSED!

This of course could not or would not be the case without the unwavering support of all my treasured clients.
This is a big shout out to each and every one of you.
You fill my days with joy and have enabled me to fore fill what seemed like a distant dream.

I am so excited for the coming years, I have lots of exciting new things that I am working on in the background so I can continue to offer my clients only the best of the best.

Sincerely THANK YOU. ❤🥰❤ by @iskin.nz

Daily Reminders for a Wednesday 🩷 by @iskin.nz

Do LED Masks actually do anything?

Have you ever wondered if those glowing, pretty coloured LED Masks are just another one of those skin gimmicks that flood the market .... promising everything and delivering nothing!

Well absolutely NOT.

LED Light Therapy has been around for years (not only in the beauty realm but also in the medical industry).
It is incredibly effective when used correctly and the high grade device is used.

Without going full noise skin geek on you.

It works by targeting the mitochondria in your skin cells, this is the central powerhouse of cells that creates cellular energy. If we have energetic cells then the skin has quicker cell mitosis (how quickly new comes to the surface and the skin also has more energy to repair, regenerate and function at its best.

The best part it is completely non-invasive, pain free and safe for all skin types.

If you are not using LED as part of your home care program I highly recommend its inclusion. You won't be disappointed.
Tried and Tested I recommend TRUDERMAL

As the EOFY year roles around I just wanted to shout out to all my incredible clients.
"You are making my dream come true"
Without each and every one of you ISKIN just wouldn't exist.

I have to admit, it hasn't been easy, there have definitely been highs and lows along the way .....but hey, that's what owning a small business is all about.

But what has made it worth it is the amazing ISKIN community.
To each of you that has chosen me and trusted me with their skin, I sincerely treasure that with all my heart.

I look forward to every single day at ISKIN, from the moment I unlock the door to the moment I turn the key at the end of the day.
My heart is full with the support every single one of you have given me as it has allowed me to build my dream.
THANK YOU.

Still lot's of work to do and new things are coming.

So roll on the 1st April and together let's create Incredible Skin.

Yes it's officially Winter but that does not mean your SPF goes in the cupboard for the next few months!
Using is a Sunscreen is a year round sport, not just a summer one.

I love this picture it show's in a very simplistic way the visible difference in Pigment formation with SPF 0 😲vs SPF 50.

What's the saying a picture paints a thousand words 😉

Just a little friendly reminder for a Monday.

YOU MATTER ❤❤❤

#selflove #selfcare #selfreminder by @iskin.nz

This time of the year plays havoc with are skin's. Change of season is always the very best time to ensure you are using the correct home plan to ensure your skin is in tip top shape for the colder winter months ahead.

I am seeing so many impaired skin barrier's at the moment which in turns leads to unnecessary inflammation, redness and irritation.

How do you know your barrier is impaired, well quite simply your skin will be feeling rubbish. 🙃

But if you are unsure here are a few things to look out for;
Dryness (scaly roughness)
Irritated (maybe even a little itchy)
Redness (those pink cheeks aren't necessarily that cute anymore)
Acne (the skin is presenting angry)

Small adjustments to your home care products can make the world of difference, perhaps a change in Cleanser, Moisturiser or adding a nutrient dense oil can all be just the ticket to get you glow back.

Of course the advice of a dedicated skin professional is ultimately the key 🙌 by @iskin.nz
