Out of Body (Redux) by Isla Noon entered at #11 on the Official Aotearoa Album Charts last week — from Lume sales alone. It’s available nowhere else.

And it wasn’t alone. Seven more albums from our first drop charted alongside it:

Change Is A Slow Moving Beast — @officialfables (#10, re-entry)
Troy Kingi Presents: Night Lords — @troykingi (#13, up from 16)
Red Sunset — @bicrunga (#14, up from 20)
Pikipiki — @geneva_am (#17, re-entry)
How Love Bends — @rebfountain (18, re-entry)
Rattlesnake Boy — @mainard.larkin (19, re-entry)
Heaven Knows What Time — @veraellen_ (20, re-entry)

The charts count sales, vinyl, CD, streams - and a Lume counts too.

Buying an album still moves the needle. Now you can see it move. taken in New Zealand by @isla.noon

Announcing … OUT OF BODY (REDUX)

An astral projection of my debut album, REDUX is a 7 track reimagining of songs from Out Of Body. I made it with Justyn Pilbrow, a new friend, and producer of legendary music that soundtracked my teenage years (Sweater Weather anyone??). Life has crazy ways of circling round like that.

Proud to also share that Out Of Body (REDUX) will be part of the launch of @lume_music , a new platform that puts albums at the centre. 80% revenue to artists, no algorithm, no AI music, and you actually own the albums you love. Lume launches July 17, and you will find Out Of Body (REDUX) there from day 1 with loads of exclusive content (BTS studio footage, early album demos etc)

Single ‘Her (REDUX)‘ out on all platforms July 17

‘Out Of Body (REDUX)’ available on @lume_music with exclusive content from July 17

‘Out Of Body (REDUX)’ out on all platforms July 31

I’ve written a full piece on my Substack if you’re curious as to how this all came about (link in bio) 🩶

I’m back in the writing slipstream, and just know that whenever this music comes out, it was fuelled almost entirely by overpriced seaweed snacks by @isla.noon

I wrote a column for the @nzherald and it’s in today’s paper! Absolutely wild to wake up to this the day after we played the release show last night, thank you to the Canvas team for trusting me with this one. Spicy byline, and trust we need to sort out that legislation and address AI theft, but I think we also have something AI can never take - actually being human 😇 you can read the full piece in today’s Herald ~ by @isla.noon

OUT OF BODY (REDUX) ✨ OUT NOW, EVERYWHERE

It’s all there for you, wherever you listen x

OOB (REDUX) is a reimagining of Out Of Body across 7 tracks. It came from the question - what would songs like Her and Talk About Us sound like if we launched them into space, sonically speaking, to meet the more surreal album cuts like Lucid Dreaming and Ricochet, Black Hole?

What if these tracks all lived in that otherworldly place together?

In one week, we’re celebrating in a big way at Auckland’s BIG FAN. I’ll be playing REDUX in full, as well as a few other bits… I’d love it if you came to celebrate with me, ticket link in my bio ! by @isla.noon
