Introduction. This was a hard one to overcome. I started to share my art casually without ever introducing myself. This summer I have gone through a big transformation and I feel ready to talk about it. If you are someone that is going through grief , if you are a parent with a sick child I see you. If you are taking care of a disabled, sick, bed ridden loved ones I am here for you. I have been through it all. If you can’t deal with pain of losing someone, please send me a DM , let me hold space for you. I love you❤️ by @isla_studio_art
We start as a blank canvas and then we start adding colors and layer by layer, our lived experiences, scars, memories add depth and texture to our canvas . Sometimes we decide we don’t like the colors and start over. This is what happens with a painting. Maybe you start with a plan but it always goes in a different direction. Especially abstract paintings. I love the process more than the outcome. I don’t care what’s going to come out. The flow state is what I am looking for. I think that should apply to life as well. This one is called Torrey Pines. My favorite memories with my son were made there. It’s also part of the series. Acrylic on cotton canvas. by @isla_studio_art
