I’ve seen some new faces recently so thought I’d share a little about me. Born and raised in San Diego, I’ve always been inspired by the coast, nature, and organic textures, bringing that effortless California feeling into my floral designs. With a background in marketing, I’ve always been drawn to community, connection, and creating beautiful things. Flowers just felt like the perfect way to bring all of that together. 🌼 My name is Erica :) This past year, I became a mom, and that life shift made me reevaluate my path. I knew I wanted to be a role model for my daughter—not just in words, but in action. If I was going to teach her to believe in herself and follow her passions, I needed to do the same. So I pivoted my focus from a corporate role and launched Isla Flor, a floral brand named after my daughter, who continues to be my biggest inspiration. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you’ll stick around and support this little business in its exciting early stages. xx by @islaflorco
For Paulina + Joey, the design was simple: minimalistic and airy with intention. Their mood board (sent via Figma to which I replied OK GRAPHIC DESIGNER, but no really..bride is a graphic designer 😂) was filled with simple, garden-inspired blooms and greenery. Not every design needs to be overflowing with flowers to make an impact. Sometimes, restraint is what makes it. Minimalist florals, lush garden greenery, historic charm, romantic candlelight, and rich, bold colors were the perfect pairing to bring their special day to life. Kaila + Fraser 🌴 From our first conversation, Kaila had a clear vision for how her wedding would look and, more importantly, feel like. Romantic florals that felt at home in the estate’s natural beauty. It just felt like them. The day was relaxed from the start. Football in the background while everyone got ready, brunch on the table, and friends and family settling into the moment. There’s something so special about seeing the people who have known a couple long before you have. Suddenly, so much of what you’ve come to know about them has context. Their warmth, easygoing nature, and outlook on life were reflected right back by the people around them on their wedding day. The rain came and went, the wind did her thing, and they hardly seemed to notice. They were too busy being there, with each other and with the people they love. Kaila and Fraser, may you always find this much joy in the simple act of being together🤍 photographer: @jocelynannphoto venue: @mirabellaestate by @islaflorco

“I always dreamed of having an intimate backyard wedding surrounded by loved ones. I ventured to find a venue that gave me that same cozy, intimate feel. And that we did. Joey and I are simple people. We care deeply about our friends and family and want our day to be a reflection not only of our love, but of those that love us. We want the day to be 100% authentic to us as a couple, surrounded by the things that make us happy.” — Paulina, when she first wrote to us. There was a steadiness to both of them throughout the day. They were present, thankful, and seemed genuinely aware of how special it was to have all of these people in one place for them. And the people around them made it easy to understand why that mattered so much. Their friends were funny and joyful, their families were warm, and there was an ease to everyone being together that made the whole day feel like theirs. It felt like them from beginning to end. They are very loved. That was impossible to miss. I’ve said it once I’ll say it a million times. I think eloping is CHIC AS HELL. Two people wanting to focus solely on each other without any distraction + enjoying the day exactly how they want to. How romantic is that? One of the best parts of marrying the love of your life is your wedding day can be anything you two want it to be 🖤 Thinking of eloping? I’d love to be apart of your special day. And I’m happy keep it a secret for ya for as long as you’d like 😉 You can now find elopement bundles on my website. Link in bio 💌 by @islaflorco

Freelance fun 👩🏻‍🐰‍👩🏽✨ When I decided to take the leap and work with flowers full-time, I was nervous about how local florists would receive me. The industry already felt so saturated.. Would they welcome me in? Share their knowledge? Actually want my help? Well, shocker: the people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside have been some of the kindest, funniest, most hardworking people I’ve ever met. I’m constantly reminded that this industry is really something special. The people you could easily view as “competition” become your friends, your teammates, and the people who remind you what you’re capable of. They lift you up and push you to be better. Feeling very grateful to have found my people in this little flower world. 🌺 by @islaflorco

My business relies on people choosing me. I know you have options, and choosing who brings your vision to life is a big decision. Thank you for choosing me. It never goes unnoticed, and I’ll always be so grateful to create something beautiful and personal for you. 🤍 by @islaflorco
