Living abroad is a strange sort of beautiful. You build another life you love in a new foreign place, yet a piece of you remains in that other place you once called home too. The definition of place and place-making has always been a fascinating one and I’ve realised that three places feel like home for me, each in its own special and different way. One stands out above the rest, featured here in this video. Moving abroad is never easy and leaving home to return home to then say goodbye again, hurts just as much each time.

I’m Greta, an Albanian who moved to the UK at 5 and now lives in the BVI. Follow along if you want to see more island life, travel, boating and some Balkan jokes along the way. Slightly unhinged but a lot of fun.
