‘Rest’ - it looks different for all of us, but is so important!

After a few weeks of a lot of cover, new releases/launches, normal classes and work, and everyday life, my mind and body felt like they needed a rest this afternoon!

We can’t always just carry on! Movement always helps me to feel better, but it doesn’t always have to be jumping around or lifting heavy! Today was a walk and some mobility work (and some time curled up on the sofa with my book!).

What does ‘rest’ look like to you?

Start by building strong foundations. Whether you’re getting back into routine after a holiday (schools have just gone back in England!), or you’re trying something new, get the basics nailed, and then build upon that.

You’ve got this 🙌

The summer holiday juggle 🤹 changes in routine for everyone, and trying to make the most of family time and have some down time, some things inevitably get dropped (like posting on socials!).

Still trying to fit in small movement opportunities each day during this last week of school holidays - some days it’s a longer workout, some days it’s not, but it always feels good for the #mindandbody

What movement are you planning on doing today? 🙌
