I'm intrigued by a group of white glazes doing a similar job as a colourful rainbow. The working name is "interesting whites" ...I must come up with a better name for the band. Suggestions?
Anyhow, here are some tests. I looove the creamy one on the first cup, second picture.

What is an Object of Desire? I listened to a podcast @1stdibs to to get some ideas. A description was that it is clear that the object has been loved by the artist who made it. How beautiful and clear.

I put a lot of energy into each piece but it shows when I have have had fun making it. Some just do become a little more special.

These make me happy in the studio today. And most days.

First the test tiles in adorable colours that I have developed during the past months. All my glazes are tested (by me) and approved (by me) before use (by me). They are tested on cups that I have come to appreciate more than expected. Morning coffees are a way of getting to know the glazes really well. And I'm thankful to my "a few days ago"- self for having made a stack of test cups for glaze testing. These should last me a few days.
