Hello friends! I’m seeing lots of new faces here, so I wanted to do a quick introduction post. 🥰

I’m Linda, a Nashville area lifestyle content creator with 20 years’ experience as a WAHM. I love sharing practical tips and ideas to help busy Moms excel at home, just like I do! 🏠

Here are some things to know about me:
I like strong coffee, being outside in nature (especially at sunset), beautiful flower beds (sometimes they're mine), happy kids and families, happy bellies, (home style cooking is my jam), and a welcoming home. ☕️💐👨‍👩‍👧‍👧👩🏻‍🍳

Oh, and I’m a smiler! It makes me happy to smile at friends and strangers alike, that’s why I’m @ismilefirst on socials.😀

Happy Flower Friday friends. My Knockout Roses are adding their happy pops of color to my front garden.❤️

I’ve said this before and it’s true, I’m a reluctant Rose gardener, because they “seem” like a lot of work. 🪏

But then, I get greeted with beauty like this and I understand all the love, admiration and effort given to them.❤️

Happy Thursday evening friends. It’s a pleasant evening here, perfect for a little porch sitting and container gardening. 🪴

I’m so pleased with how this container with Coleus and Angelonia is fairing in the heat. 🤩 I especially love the Fairway Yellow Coleus. It’s so vivid! 💛

It’s not all happy news though, the Lavender I planted has been decimated by spider mites. All my efforts to save it were in vain. 🥺 taken in Thompsons Station, Tennessee by @ismilefirst

Happy Tomato Tuesday friends. 🍅 I’m so happy we’re having a good tomato season this year after last years less than stellar one. 😊

We’re most excited that the Cherokee Purple tomato plant is doing well. It’s our first time growing them. 👩🏻‍🌾

Dana was able to put in a photo exactly what we all thought the theme could be; but only better! Dana’s account is filled with beautifully curated photos, showing off her incredible style.

Happy flower Friday friends. My Coneflowers have redoubled their efforts to bloom among the weeds that seemingly shot up overnight. 🌸

I may never catch up on weeding with all the rain we’ve been getting! ⛈️

I say Coneflowers are winning because there’s a new patch forming on the very edge of the flower bed. 🩷
