I am rediscovering photography. Photography is to me a moment captured, seeing the beauty in everyday life and taking time to notice things around.

What a special night. My first time hearing Desert Blues from the Sahara desert . The band brought message of peace, love and unity from the people and tribes of the desert.
From the first song, I was like what the hell is this. It’s amazing. There is no way we can sit still. By the second song, the audience got up and started to clap, dance in the small intimate amphitheater at the American Arts Center. By the fifth song, we were family, dancing and celebrating with the band @daraatribes, danced, and sang with us and created a feeling like we were-in the sinners the movie. The music took all of us and we couldn’t stop. This short video was a moment of just witnessing. When whispered, what the hell is I’ve never heard anything like this. My brother leaned over and whispered in my ear. It’s desert-blues. Desert blues I thought amazing. If you been in the desert, which I have had to the fortune of doing, there’s something very solem, quiet and bluey about being in the desert. This music represents it very well. It took us through highs and at times were all dancing at times we were sitting and just wondering and pondering through our lives. I feel special to have this experience with my Morocco brother J. You never to old to learn something new. From the shady video I hope you get a sense of the mood and energy if the night. @daraatribes by @iso_international

One thing I love about moving to Kenya is the experience of knowing other cultures. Who would if thought coming into Kenya I would get India, Ethiopia, Somalia, and a gateway to the rest of Africa. Most of all the warmth and comfort of sitting in a friend’s living room in such a beautiful way. this is such a special experience, and I was honored to share. by @iso_international
