Imagine a place where a child’s future isn’t determined by their circumstances.

A place where basketball is used as a tool to teach leadership, discipline, accountability, education, and character.

That’s the vision behind The Learning Academy Basketball.

My goal is to create opportunities I wish more young athletes had access to: elite training, mentorship, academic support, scholarships, and a positive environment that promotes growth on and off the court.

We’re not building basketball players.

We’re building future leaders.

If you believe in investing in young people and strengthening our community, follow our journey. The best is yet to come.

Dear Basketball,
Four years of college basketball, and somehow, I still have three years left.

When I look back, basketball has been so much more than a game to me. Without it, I honestly don’t know where I would be. There were times when I could have been on the streets, still struggling with homelessness, without a passion or a sense of purpose. Basketball gave me something to believe in when I didn’t have much else.

This game has taken me across the country. It’s introduced me to people, opened doors, challenged me, humbled me, and taught me lessons that I couldn’t have learned anywhere else.

And there were moments when I could be surrounded by people and still feel completely alone. Somehow, basketball was always there.

That’s why I don’t take this game for granted.

One day, I want to build something of my own for kids who come from troubled homes, difficult situations, or simply need somewhere to belong. I want to give them the same outlet basketball gave me—a place to work, grow, dream, and realize that their circumstances don’t have to determine their future.

That’s a huge part of why I want to be great.

At 22, with three years of eligibility still ahead of me, I believe something special can still happen. There have been politics, setbacks, and plenty of obstacles trying to get in the way, but I’m still here.

Still playing.
Still working.
Still learning.
Still believing.

Basketball gave me a purpose when I needed one most. Now I want to use everything this game has given me to give something back.
