Dear Morgan,

From the moment I stepped onto campus, you became more than just a university you became home. Thank you for shaping me into the woman I am today. Through every early morning practice, long nights studying, stressful exams, victories, setbacks, and unforgettable memories, you taught me resilience, discipline, and strength.

Being a student-athlete here challenged me in ways I never imagined. Balancing my sport with academics was not always easy, but Morgan showed me what I was truly capable of. The lessons I learned on and off the mat will stay with me forever. My teammates became family, my coaches became mentors, and this HBCU experience became one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Thank you for the culture, the love, the lifelong friendships, the unforgettable Homecomings, and the endless pride that comes with being a Bear. Thank you for helping me grow academically, spiritually, and personally while preparing me for the next chapter of my life.
No matter where life takes me, I will always carry Morgan with me. Forever grateful, forever proud, forever a Bear.

With love,
Makaya 💙🧡 taken in Morgan State University by @isokekaya
