I’m an ECE, teacher, speaker, educational consultant, professional learning facilitator, advocate for educators and host of The Inspiring ECE Podcast.

Early childhood education is my foundation, but my mission continues to grow. Through meaningful professional learning, honest conversations and practical resources, I support educators, teachers and leaders in strengthening their practice, supporting their wellness and reconnecting with their purpose.

When your work has range, your bag needs range too!

My new work bag from @poppy_peonies has officially arrived, and we’re about to see whether it can keep up with all the hats I wear. 💜

Supply educator. Part-time faculty member. Educational consultant. Curriculum developer. Professional learning facilitator.

In other words, I need a bag that can carry my laptop, teaching materials and everything else I somehow convince myself I need. 😂

Sometimes you forget you’re awesome. This is your reminder. 💜☕

Apparently, I needed this message today, and of course it arrived on a purple mug!

I received this special gift, then hubby made my afternoon coffee in it. Honestly, the combination of purple, coffee, and a reminder of my own awesomeness was exactly what this Friday needed.

Sometimes encouragement arrives in big moments. Sometimes it arrives in a mug filled by someone who loves you.

Fun Fact Friday! 💜🍅

Did you know that, besides my love for all things purple, I am a HUGE foodie?

I love trying new foods, visiting new restaurants and experimenting in the kitchen. So, if you invite me out for dinner, there is a very good chance I’m coming! 😂

But for me, food is about more than what’s on the plate. It’s about the conversations, laughter, community and relationships we build around the table.

Some of the most meaningful moments happen when we slow down, share a meal and make space for one another. That sense of connection is also at the heart of how I approach education and professional learning.

Educators, what’s the colour that makes you feel like YOU? ✨

For me, it’s PURPLE! 💜

Purple represents creativity, confidence, ambition, imagination and royalty. But for me, it’s more than a colour. It empowers me to show up boldly, bring creativity into my work and never be afraid to stand out.

As educators, we bring so much of ourselves into the spaces we create. Our energy, personality and passion become part of the learning environment. So why not embrace the colour that inspires you and bring it into your work?

Kinda chic to care deeply and still protect your peace. 💜

Kinda chic to pursue the big dream, show up for the work, support educators, love your people, and still remember that you matter too.

This is a little personal, a little professional, and very much the heart of what I’m building with Ispyr to Educate.

A space where educators, leaders, moms, mentors, and everyone connected to education can feel seen, supported, and reminded that we are not alone in this work.

Because wellness is not another thing to add to the list.

It is part of how we live, lead, teach, care, grow, and keep going.

📱 Screens off. Feelings on.

Children are more connected to technology than ever and when that connection gets interrupted, the emotions are real. Meltdowns, resistance, anxiety it’s not defiance. It’s dysregulation.
