Babe Gillett Fall Tournament - Week 6! 🥎🔥

The race to the finals is heating up!

🔹 Men’s Division

With their win over Gezer, Misgav have secured the #1 seed in the best-of-three final!

With their win over Gezer, team Misgav will qualify as the #1 seed in the men's best of three final! The fight for the coveted 2nd seed will come down to the final week of play, where a Gezer victory over Penticon will see them advance.

The Sox kept their aspirations alive by "walking-off" the Ceveceros 11-10 this past week. For them to qualify they need a win in their final game, coupled with a loss by Gezer.

With one-week remaining, four teams are in the hunt to play in the bronze medal game!

🔹 Women’s Division

With only three round robin games remaining, all four teams are still in contention to play in the women's final! For both Misgav and the Fireballs, a win by either club punches their respective ticket! If they both win, they will meet in the final!

The Thunderbirds also have a clear path and like the teams above, control their own destiny. Win their final two-games and they will play in the championship. Dimona, they must win both of their remaining games while also needing a favorable result in the Thunderbirds-Fireballs game!.

Good luck to all teams in next week’s decisive games! 🙏 by @israelsoftball

Babe Gillett Fall Tournament - Week 5 🥎🔥

🔹 Men’s Division

As the men’s season moves on, all five of the higher ranked teams easily won their respective games this week. At the top of the standings, Misgav and Gezer both took care of business to remain undefeated, setting up their showdown next week. An interesting stat from week five saw the Sox play in two games with a combined total of 57 runs scored. This total represents almost 18% of all the runs scored in the men’s fall tournament to date!

With two weeks remaining, only the winless Nomads have been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention!

🔹 Women’s Division

With two and a half weeks remaining, parity has surely come to our women’s division with all four teams separated by only one-game. The Thunderbirds currently sit at the top the table, but with Misgav and Fireballs only a half-game back, drama will certainly show itself over the last few games. Dimona, sitting a full game back of the T-Birds will also have a say in who advances to the final. by @israelsoftball

Sukkot Softball in Full Swing! 🥎🔥

It’s always a fun day at the ball park when our teams get together! This Sukkot, the U12 and U16 players were back in action for two great tournament days at Nir David and Bat Hefer.

The U12 Sukkot Tournament took place on September 24 at Nir David. Originally slated as a five-team shootout, the hosts from Nir David ended up playing a two-game series against both teams from Misgav. Trying conditions saw the kids playing under blazing sunshine with temperatures hovering around 35 degrees, but that didn’t stop the players from having fun!

The U16 Sukkot Tournament followed on October 1 at Bat Hefer, bringing together Bat Hefer, Gezer, Misgav and Nir David. Experienced coaches, good ball players and great vibes! This year seemed to be a little different for the four programs. In years past, it wasn’t easy to pull off a tournament after the first month of practices. I guess coming off of a national team summer in Czechia, a lot of the boys couldn’t wait to get back into action.

Special gratitude to Tomer Morgan & Gil Tuvin for all the hard work and dedication they showed in preparing the field, the shaded areas and the unlimited fresh water supply at Nir David. As always, big props to Judah Rosenthal for hosting and preparing the fields at Bat Hefer.

Looking forward to seeing you all during the Hannukah tournament! 🥎 by @israelsoftball

2026 FALL TOURNEY | WEEK 4 RECAP 🥎

Week four of the men's division saw both Misgav and Cerveceros easily hold serve in their respective games. With their victory, Misgav remains unbeaten and now have sole possession of first place. Cerveceros, who now sit at 2 & 2, moved back into the playoff conversation.

The game of the week took place on Tuesday at the Village. Phoenix jumped out to a 9-1 lead after three, but we have learned to never underestimate a Jeff Mor lead Penticon squad! Two runs in the 4th, made the score 9-3. Then a "bat-around" 5th saw saw the boys in yellow put up an eight-spot, taking the lead, they would never relinquish. The final score was Penticon 11 - Phoenix 9.

In the women's division, the Thunderbirds scored early and often leading to a 10-4 win over the ladies from Misgav. With the victory, the T-Birds sit at the top of the division heading into the Sukkot holiday break.

Chag Sukkot Sameach to the entire ISA family! Wishing all our players, coaches, families and supporters a happy and joyful holiday! 🥎💙🌿 by @israelsoftball

2026 FALL Tourney – Week 3 results! 🥎🔥

In the men's division, Misgav, Gezer and Phoenix won their respective matches to stay undefeated through the first three weeks of play.

At Maor, the Sox held Misgav in check until the wheels fell off, allowing Misgav to score eight runs in the bottom of the fourth, leading to a 12–2 Misgav victory.

The Baptist Village played host to our only women's game this week. The Fireballs, showing a propensity for late-inning heroics, did it again with their second consecutive walk-off win! With two outs in the bottom of the final inning, a bases-loaded walk forced the winning run to score, leading to a 9–8 victory over the ladies from Dimona. by @israelsoftball

With only three games played in week two, we didn’t lack for dramatic finishes.
Kicking off this week’s slate, team Phoenix, down 5-3 after four, storms back with six runs to beat the Cerveceros 9-8.

The final game of the week saw the ladies from Misgav walk it off against Dimona, by a score of 9-8. Crusing with a five run lead, Misgav gave up five runs in the top of the last inning, setting up the walk-off situation. With two outs, a base hit to the outfield scored the winning run.
