Update #3 Mission Aagaman

@skyrootaerospace’s Vikram-1’s Test Flight-1 – Mission Aagaman is carrying a diverse set of payloads that showcase innovation from across the globe.

Onboard are SOLARAS S3 by Grahaa Space, Embrace – an in-orbit robotic arm by Cosmoserve Space, an in-orbit technology demonstration from Germany’s DCUBED, Skyroot’s own SCOPE satellite, and two unique artistic payloads: Cosmic Bloom by Cosmos Diamonds and a remarkable microart by Ajay Kumar Mattewada.

The 18K gold microart features miniature sculptures of Sir C.V. Raman, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam—each smaller than a grain of rice—paying tribute to the pioneers who shaped India’s scientific journey. by @isrosight

🚀 Three Years of Chandrayaan-3 🇮🇳🌕

On this day, India embarked on a historic journey as Chandrayaan-3 lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, carrying the nation's aspirations to the Moon.

The mission went on to achieve what no country had done before—making a successful soft landing near the Moon's south polar region, showcasing ISRO's engineering excellence and India's growing leadership in space exploration.

From launch to lunar success, Chandrayaan-3 became a symbol of perseverance, innovation, and the limitless potential of Indian science.

Mission Gaganyaan Update:

ISRO has successfully completed three key qualification tests for the Gaganyaan Crew Module:

🔹 Crew Module Up-righting System (CMUS): Successfully demonstrated the inflation of the primary flotation system using stored cold gas, validating deployment performance and inflation timelines across the complete operating pressure range.

🔹 Crew Module–Service Module Connect & Disconnect System (CSCDS): The umbilical separation test confirmed clean separation of the CSU-2 interface while validating the structural integrity of the Crew Module panel and the functional performance of the integrated system.

🔹 Crew Module Structural Qualification: The Crew Module was subjected to approximately 1.75× the predicted apex cover separation loads, successfully verifying structural margins and confirming its ability to withstand the loads generated during the parachute deployment sequence.

Although these tests take place away from the spotlight, they are fundamental to mission success. Each qualification validates critical safety systems that will protect the crew during splashdown, module separation, and atmospheric re-entry.

With every successful qualification, ISRO moves another step closer to launching Indian astronauts aboard Gaganyaan.
