Everytime I call them in, it reminds me of this particular verse in the bible. I remember my first time calling them inside they completely ignored me and I had to fetch them from the field and chase them inside, why? I was a stranger to them. It took some time and trust for them to know I’m there to love and take care of them.

The same way as us the more we spend time reading the word of God and spend time with God, we gradually learn to recognise his voice. The same way the horses recognise me calling them by their name, because they know who I am.
