Came across @kuangrf by pure happenstance after I decided to see what was happening at the local Fnac. Managed to get a book signed out of it. Just started the reading journey. The first couple of chapters are very promising. Engaging and witty. by @issadioume

Fun day. Got to visit the "most beautiful bookshop in the world." Are they lying? You tell me. by @issadioume

A great story about one man's search for meaning. A lesson in learning to give things up and seeing life from different angles. Thank you for this lesson @herman.hesse #siddhartha #novel #bookstagram #summerreads #book #author #writer by @issadioume

So much to learn about short story form from these... @newyorkermag fiction....great stuff these two weeks... just rejoicing from all there is to read, learn and discover. And their reporting is amazing.

Currently using the Scottish storytelling centre as H.Q. for writing. A tranquil spot, where the sun’s lustrous rays fall perfectly on you, not blinding you, when you sit by the glass wall opposite the stairs. •==============================• #scotland #storytelling #storytellingcenter #booknerdigan #writer #writingspot #writing #author #writersofinstagram #issadioume #calm #sun #tranquil #creativespot #creativewriting #placetowrite #edinburgh #literature #cafe #art #artist #sun #deadlines #dissertation #student #bookworm #artistsoninstagram #penguinbooks by @issadioume

Classic! absolutely love this one. Just finished re-reading it. Always good to return to this type of prose from time to time. A great example of writers not having to always take themselves seriously when they create, but of truly having fun with it and still passing meaningful questions to readers.

Latest @newyorkermag is great as usual! My favourite story I’ve read from this magazine, thus far. The cover is brilliant!
