POSTS STORIES REELS

“Go back to your country.” Words that were meant to close a door, now a reminder that stories can open doors across cultures, borders, and hearts.

What an unforgettable week in São Paulo, Brazil, celebrating the release of my book Go Back To Your Country in Portuguese, @gbtyc_book 🇧🇷📚

From book signings to conferences, podcasts, screenings, and private gatherings, my heart is full of gratitude. To see this story embraced in Brazil, a country so rich in faith, culture, hospitality, and humanity, is a privilege I will never take for granted.

Thank you to my publisher and the wonderful team at @vidaecaminho for embracing this project, believing in it, and helping me understand why this conversation matters so deeply in Brazil.

Thank you to @movementdaysp , Samuel De Lima, Mac Pier, and your teams for including my book launch in your annual conference and introducing this work to spiritual, business, nonprofit, and government leaders.

To my longtime Brazilian friend, filmmaker & Artivist @123dudapenteado , thank you for opening doors, advocating for this book, and helping bring this message to your native land.

To @b_e_nichols and @allpeoplefree, thank you for letting me be part of the All People Free documentary screening and the fight for children living in modern slavery. What began as one trip became a beautiful multipurpose journey.

To my pastors, Bishop Joshua and Pastor Paula, thank you for supporting this project from day one, witnessing this moment in São Paulo, and being my greatest supporters. ❤️❤️❤️

To Sam Mikhail from @jungle_communications , thank you for your wisdom, advisory role, and longtime friendship.

Special thanks to @rozanipelc , @paula_rodriguez_acosta , @charlesnyc , @1040filmhub , and others who captured the photos and videos in this reel. And to the many others who played pivotal roles along the way, I am grateful.

I feel humbled and honored to contribute one small story to a much larger conversation about immigration in Brazil. My hope is that this book can stand alongside many other voices and help create space for empathy, dignity, and meaningful dialogue. Thank you, Brazil. 🙏🇧🇷✨ by @issamusharbash
