One of three C25 prototypes we created in collaboration with our client @nonlinearlabs .

The main enclosure was fabricated from bent sheet metal to ensure stability and durability, while all plastic components were 3D printed to evaluate ergonomics, fit, and mechanical functionality. These prototypes allowed us to quickly test, refine, and validate key aspects of the instrument before moving forward.

We’re pretty happy with how it turned out, but we’re already working on the next iteration, refining the design further and improving its manufacturability. Stay tuned.

A look behind the scenes of the C25 Performance Synthesizer development at the lovely workshop of our client @nonlinearlabs in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

Projects like this thrive on close collaboration. Working side by side with the engineers at Nonlinear Labs allows industrial design and engineering to evolve together from day one. Ideas are tested, refined and improved directly on the workbench, making the development process both highly efficient and genuinely enjoyable.

Over the years, we have refined the C15 through many evolutionary steps, but now it is time for a complete redesign. The C25 is our next step in the world of performance synthesizers. It combines the qualities of the C15 with many new ideas.
