We had such amazing time celebrating RJ’s 7th bday. He is growing up to be such an amazing kid. Smart, respectful, kind and loving. He makes being a father easy. 23-9-23 marks the day we said forever. We parted ways with doubts and fears. We made this lifetime commitment to each other, to the kids, to our future, to our love for one another and to God. As I stood waiting for my wife to come and join me at the alter it felt the same as in the very beginning. As I waited for her to cross the street to meet for the first time, I had the same feeling of Forever and this feeling of relief. This is my person, this is my best friend, my lover and now my wife! For some odd reason I thought we worked together perhaps it was just foresight thinking that we’d work together. It’s been work but I’m not a stranger to hard work and for this love I’d work for free so it’s really not work. People always talk about how water and oil doesn’t mix and I’m sure that’s what folks thought about us and that’s okay.
