Cleopatra, beautifully stacked in our Mathe Necklaces, each piece intricately hand-beaded with cobalt blue, gold, turquoise, and apple green beads on cotton thread.

We named this stitch after the talented beader who created it, Thokozane Mathe, one of our gifted artisans and a cherished mentor within the beading community 🫂🇿🇦

Thokozane Mathe is a talented beader, an incredible mother, and a respected mentor in the community 🧡

If she sees a neighbour struggling, she steps in and teaches them how to bead to help them earn a living.

She has a powerful, wise presence, and we are so blessed to have met her.

Earlier this year we hosted a workshop with our team in the Valley of 1000 Hills, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
