Making my own #letterpatches!! 🔤🪡 Vid shows the beginning of this thought process and I'll conclude it here:

I ultimately decided to do this for a multitude of reasons

1> it's free, and we all broke

B> def gives me a reason to FINALLY use the scraps of fabric from past projects I have laying around

Trois> it gives me the opp to put even more of my own magic into the clothes I wear

While it is time-consuming, and tedious, it still busies my days, and just gives me yet another skill I can transfer into any of the future work should I choose to. Hope you guys use this to creative build smth for yourself!! #artistsinspireartists

#pride month may be over *scoffs* but being who you are, lasts yr round!! 🏳️‍🌈🤝 #imanally So I decided to start making my own #allypatches!
1 I got the ribbon at michaels crafts - rip joanns
2 sewed the traced outline I cut out
3 cut THAT out, and pinned it to a piece of scrap fabric
4 sewed it over in x's
5 cut it out to make the actual patch
6 then F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. sewed it onto my clothes!!
It's been a process, and I'm planning on sewing these on every single article of clothing I have, yas including my payjayjays!

I wanted to have this double meaning; my mom's from the island of #Oahu hence the shape of the patch, instead of just an ol' rainbow.

I finished putting these on all my flannels, and now I'm moving on to shirts, starting w my band tees. Idk what Imma do to the ones that don't have sleeves *hawkward sideeye* but I'll figure it out! That's the secret w sewing btw, very much just jumping in the deep end, and figuring how to do it as ya go!! It's totally not stressful at all, at times by @it.makes.me
