Here it is! My first Youtube video! A big thank you to all of you who have already checked it out and subbed!
As you may or may not know, I have been wanting to make a channel for a while now showcasing my art and also my faith. This video is not a perfect depiction of what I want my channel to look like in the long run, but it is a good introduction and I really enjoyed taking the first step.
I hope you will stick around for this journey I’m embarking on. I have a lot of goals this year. Whether they succeed or fail, I am excited to see what the future holds!

You can find beauty in the simplest of places. You just have to be willing to look.

2025 was the start of a new beginning for my art. It had been a couple of years since I painted anything. I was focused on my long term career goals and neglected an irreplaceable aspect of myself: my passion for art.

It seems like only artist can understand the need to create. It is as essential to our being, almost like breathing. Almost as if repressing our urges to create would mean death itself. That may sound dramatic, but it is the truth. Our ideas must become tangible, our inspiration must be manifested in our craft.

Coming into 2026, I realized how much more alive I feel. My art is a part of me. Without it, I am not fully myself, nor am I all God has created me to be. It is not accident I am an artist. It is a passion placed in my heart by God Himself. I will continue to nurture this gift, until my days on Earth are done

en plein air

Keep forgetting to post this! This was from my trip to Rocky Mountain National Park this past summer. It was my first time painting en plein air so I was a little nervous.

Recently had the opportunity to visit Rocky Mountain National Park with my wife this summer. There I understood the importance of being in nature. It pays to spend time in God’s creation; to see how wonderfully imaginative the ecosystem has been orchestrated by His hand. Trees, mountains, and animals of all kind, woven together to speak of a creator who delights in what He makes. And here I am, a product of this Creator, awestruck, inspired by the sheer size of the structure before me; only able to crudely emulate a small replica of my Maker’s masterpiece. However, small as it is, I believe He delights in that, and so do I 🧡

After a long time away, I’ve finally taken up my artistic passion again. While my aviation career is still a work in progress, I believe it’s time to actually start selling my art! I’m first looking to build a website to sell prints and originals. If anyone has suggestions or tips for building one, I would love the advice! God Bless and expect more art in the near future!
