You cant encounter Jesus and remain the same.

This day last year I was sitting by the ocean contemplating my life, I had just turned 25 but I was beyond miserable. I have struggled with my mental for awhile & just waited for the day my thoughts would win, at times I would just beg God to take me. It was like a constant cloud of darkness that was over me. No matter how much I smiled, loved, seemed happy. I struggled bad w/ the "why" of everything thats happened to me. major depression, trauma, rape, abuse, ptsd ect. Just felt defeated.
So I decided to walk into the ocean. I aint want to "be strong" anymore nor go back to how life was.

BUT ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT GOD INTERVENED AND TODAY I AM SITTING BY THE SAME WATERS PRAISING MY LORD & SAVIOR.
unfortunately it wasnt my only attempt last year but most importantly I ended the year a Child of God!! I have been Made New.
A year later from that attempt, my testimony got to be shared on my birthday by the church I am now apart of 🥹 God is doing amazing things at Living the Word Church, I am so grateful to be apart of & witness it. God bless everyone that serves there 💜

Jesus is the light, I am loved unconditionally. I am not alone & neither are you.
Theres so much more to life. You matter & Your loved, dont let anyone or those thoughts tell you any different, open up the Good book & seek him. Stop expecting others to love you the way God does!
Love yourself, Love God, Love others & look up to the hills. You will find that light, I promise.
My God is Good and My Jesus Saves, no matter how far gone you may feel. He will leave the 99 (Luke 15:3-7) for you as he did me 💜 God is not done w/ you.

Today I am 26 celebrating another birthday. I am forever blessed & I give it all to God 🥰
I have not struggled w/ suicidal thoughts or the darkness, depressed feeling since the day I walked back into church & gave my life to Christ. This smile I got now is filled with so much constant JOY😆
