i've barely touched pen and paper over the last two years. i guess this is not exactly pen, nor paper, however it feels rather satisfactory. maybe more of these will appear here soon, maybe not. same old love for design circles around still. perhaps that's what matters. cheerio! by @itapro.design

Lisbon simply cannot be put into words, it must be lived through. 💭

On a slow and warm winter afternoon these two gentlemen deserved to be archived in the corners of my memory. Obrigado!

Sixth issue: Jan. 13, 2023 - En Lisboa

Halfway local.✌🏻
Getting to catch up with these. A pure indulgence is an afternoon spent sunbathing on a rooftop. These quirky little terraces are all over the place, but this one would be my most favourite.

Fifth issue: Dec. 23, 2022 - La Terraza

Gracias, @radoslavchev for taking this journey with me. You’re a gem. 🤍

A little overdue, here comes the fourth cover.
This is not an actual street, it’s a mix and match of things spotted here and there. But let’s call it Calle Montaño. Simply in love with Málaga’s curious looking balconies, stunning facades and banana plants peeking from every corner. 🪴

Fourth issue: Dec. 20, 2022 - Calle Montaño

The third one is out now. 👀
One local signature scene must be the grilled sardine skewers, slowly roasting in front of the chiringuitos - small open air eateries located very close to the sea.

Third issue: Nov. 24, 2022 - El Chiringuito y Las Sardinas

Here comes the second one. Perhaps one of my favourite places around here, would be the marina. Spotted a peculiar little fisherman some time ago. 🐠

Second issue: Nov. 10, 2022 - La Marina

Hopefully this one will be turning into a screen print very soon.🤞🏻

Buenas!
Some may be familiar with my love for The New Yorker magazine’s covers, featured illustrators, and witty cartoons. Inspired greatly by it over time, and faced with the opportunity to spend the next few months in Màlaga, I thought that it only seems appropriate to explore the city creatively by illustrating a cover, every now and then, of this imaginary periodical which I named: El Malagueño.

First issue: Oct. 26, 2022 - Mercado Central

Expected frequency: once a fortnight

I invite you on a stroll around Malaga’s vibrant streets, it’s characters and curious faces.

Vamos! 🤙🏻
