🎉 57 years blessed and still feeling like 30! 🎂

From growing up in Jamaica without cellphones or Wi-Fi, to building a life and career in Canada, what an incredible journey it has been! 🇯🇲🇨🇦

My greatest blessings are my four beautiful children, Aleeya, Alexa, Carter and Cayden. Watching them grow, succeed and follow their dreams makes me one proud father. ❤️

Big up to my family, friends and all my Villagers who have been part of my journey. Above all, I give thanks and praise to the Heavenly Father for another blessed year! 🙏🏽

Lastnight I found myself going back through years of old pictures and videos of my kids… and this one had me smiling from ear to ear. Watching Alexa dance brought back so many memories. ❤️

As I get older, I’ve realized that life isn’t measured by the things we own, it’s measured by the moments we were blessed to experience, the people we’ve met, the memories we’ve made, and the love we’ve shared.

Looking back reminds me how incredibly blessed I am to have been there for so many of these moments. They may have seemed ordinary at the time, but today they feel priceless.

Alexa, you’ve always had a way of bringing happiness into my heart. Your energy, your smile, and your spirit have always been something special.

And to all four of my amazing children, thank you for giving me a lifetime of memories that I will cherish forever. You have each shaped my life in your own unique way, and I couldn’t be more proud of the people you’ve become.

I love you all more than words can ever express. ❤️

As life keeps moving forward, I’m learning to slow down, appreciate the journey, and be thankful for every chapter. These memories will always be some of my greatest treasures.

Today, my heart is filled with gratitude as I remember my dad, who is no longer with us. ❤️

Although he’s not here in person, the lessons he taught me, the values he instilled in me, and the example he set continue to guide me every single day. As I watch my own children grow into incredible young adults, I appreciate even more the sacrifices, patience, and unconditional love that fathers give.

Dad, thank you for believing in me, for teaching me to work hard, stay humble, and never give up. Your legacy lives on through the person I strive to be and through the love I have for my family. I miss you deeply, but I carry you with me every day.

To all the amazing dads out there, whether you’re raising young children, cheering on grown kids, or simply being there when your family needs you, thank you. Never underestimate the impact you have. Your love, guidance, and presence help shape the next generation in ways that words can never fully express.

And to those, like me, whose fathers are watching over us from above, may today be a reminder that their love never truly leaves us.

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible fathers and father figures. Cherish every moment, make lasting memories, and never miss an opportunity to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you.

A Dad’s Heart ❤️❤️

I was going through some old photos today and came across this one of my twin boys, Cayden and Carter, when they were little. It instantly put the biggest smile on my face.

Time really does fly.

I don’t post much about these two, but believe me when I say they have grown into two incredible young men. Watching them grow, develop their own personalities, and chase their dreams has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

As a father, there are moments when you quietly sit back and realize just how proud you are. This is one of those moments.

Boys, I hope you always remember that no matter how old you get, you’ll always be those two little brothers with their arms around each other in my eyes. Thank you for being respectful, kind, hardworking, and for making me proud every single day.

I love you both more than words can express. Keep believing in yourselves, keep working hard, stay humble, and never stop becoming the amazing men you’re meant to be.

Dad will always be cheering you on. ❤️

Bavaro Beach days, sunshine, ocean breeze, music playing, and just living stress free 🌴☀️🌊

And yes hahaha… I missing my crazy long hair days too 😅
Still feeling kinda sad that I cut it off, but trust me… the long hair pics and videos soon forward another time 😂💯

Looking back on life sometimes makes me feel like a dinosaur 🦖, but when I really sit down and reflect, I realize the journey has been nothing short of amazing.

From attending Crescent All Age School, then DTHS in 1984, to getting my very first telecommunications job at EPS Two Way Communication installing mobile radio systems… those were the days that helped shape the man I became.

Then came my years at Alcan Jamaica Limited as a young Power House Operator. Hard work, discipline, safety, and brotherhood were everything. This cup I’m posting today brings back so many memories because it belonged to my dad, who also worked at Alcan before me. Following in his footsteps meant a lot to me. Back then we worked hard, but we worked safely, always looking out for one another to prevent injuries and make it home to our families.

In 1992, I migrated to Canada and continued the journey by studying Electronic Engineering specializing in Telecommunications, while continuing to work in the field all these years later. Looking back now, I can honestly say, hhhmmm!!! I’ve contributed a lot to this industry over the years.

But one of my greatest achievements is seeing my children all grown up, doing well in university, and building their own future. That feeling brings me a joy words can’t explain.

To all the past Alcan workers and families — if you still have your Alcan cups or memorabilia from your parents, post them up. Let’s keep the memories and the love for Alcan alive forever. Those experiences helped build us into who we are today.
