POSTS STORIES REELS
Last month the Now Show graduation exhibition marked the end of my journey at @st_joost , and a journey it has been. I graduated with my project ‘Terra Incognita’: “Between departure and arrival lies a liminal space: a room of waiting, of doubt, of uncertainty. Here, in the unknown, reside the stories of those on their way. Along this route, experience three journeys, three lives in motion, captured in film and ceramics – materials that preserve memories and protect stories. By entering the exhibition, you follow the journeys of three migrants. Just as they sought their way through the unknown, so you navigate through this work. How can we learn from each other’s experiences? Where do the similarities lie, and how can we help one another? Meet the people behind the term ‘immigrant”. Thankfull for the past years at St Joost and a special thanks to: Sevil, Claudia and Timea for making it possible for me to realize this project and sharing their experiences with me. Forever grateful 💜 @mira.vandenberg @kaa._.t @ikbenmaxwell for getting through the graduation semester together and the unconditional support. 🍺 And @robertknight.nl for the guidance through this semester. And my amazing classmates✨ For now I will finalize my studies officially by concluding a last semester at Buas doing the minor Intercultural media fieldwork. ✨✨✨ by @itisfemtastic
Throwback Thursday! Workshopleider: @itisfemtastic #art #vrolijkheid #kunst #keramiek by @itisfemtastic

Last year I have focused myself on the ceramic arts. It all started with wanting to make a tribute to the archeological find of the ‘Limurgse Miljoenpoot’. I wanted to capture this find, in something that is often associated with history and what better than vases that go back in history as long as we can remember. For ever frozen in time. From there on the Limburgse miljoenpoot became the signature on the vases, wheter they leave an entire trail on the vase of just a mark. 📷: Gemeente Breda by @itisfemtastic
