My EP ‘closer to U’ is available on @bandcamp only 🙏🧡

~ written from an introspective season, this EP reflects deeply on the different relationships that i for whatever reason, invited into my life - but that left me wounded. I am and continue to be in my own space, tending to the wounds that needs healing, now physically and mentally. Filling my spiritual cup and letting my soul rest - for just a little while longer. The worst is never the worst.

Lamentations 3:28-30: “when life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. enter the silence. bow in prayer. don’t ask questions: wait for hope to appear. don’t run from trouble. take it full-face. the ‘worst’ is never the worst” ~

Had an amazing time in Marrakech; thanks to @marrakech_discover04 for having me at their Riad 🙏♥️ The Moroccans are such wonderful people with big hearts (Yassine and the people at the Riad, @alienaar & @funkyfahd and to Farida and her sister for their beautiful store in the medina). This little trip has been on my bucket list since I was a teenager and I finally got to fill my soul with this beautiful place and its culture. I hope to be back soon #inshallah 🙏♥️

“THE WONDERFUL PURIFY YOUR SIGHT” 🧡 I’m not gonna get too soppy here but dear lord, thank u for this blessing. My first spin on national radio with a song I’ve composed, produced, mixed and mastered 🫠 The amount of blood, sweat and tears that has gone into this project is crazy. At the beginning of this I barely knew what an EQ did, let alone a fucking compressor. To have my hard work being paid off by having this song featured on @bbcradio2 “the Jazz Show” with @jamiecullum is such a massive compliment to my independent ass. The biggest thank you to my beautiful crêpe @codypeps for doing such a good job with the PR - so proud of everything you’re accomplishing for yourself 🧡 eternally grateful for you and our friendship. New music coming soon - logging off in the meantime 🫶

And of course, the musicians that made this song magical: @zack1381 on drums, @rudi_creswick on bass, @sofieveie on guitar, @jackstephensonoliver on keys, @lyadrummer on percussion 🧡
