I think SHE did…🩷😊💚

I am excited to share that I have been appointed as the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Great Lakes Region Creative & Graphic Design Lead by Great Lakes Regional Director Jackie Davis-Betserai.

With over 7,000 members from the great states of Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Western New York and West Virginia, we are here to demonstrate that in the Great Lakes Region, Champions Define Greatness!

I am so ecstatic to work under an amazing woman leading the Great Lakes Region and to work with an amazing team of talented women continuing the GREAT work within the Great Lakes Region🙏🌷.

🫶💞💚 Last week I was able to attend Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®’s 72nd Boule held in Las Vegas, Nevada and was honored to have the opportunity to serve as a Delegate for my chapter, Alpha Gamma Omicron Omega serving Farmington and Farmington Hills, Michigan.

🤗Handling the business of our sisterhood is always a priority, but being able to do it surrounded by thousands of amazing sisters made the experience unforgettable! Beyond the business sessions, I had the absolute best time reconnecting with old friends, meeting new sisters from across the globe, and taking in all the sights and energy that Las Vegas has to offer.

I also loved having the opportunity to invest in my personal and professional growth through incredible workshops, including “Navigating Your Career Journey in Corporate America” led by Sister Regina Bynote Jones and “Developing Your Public Speaking Skills” led by Sister Rhonda H. Thompson.

✈️😆I’ve returned home inspired, empowered, and ready to continue serving our community with renewed purpose!

🩷💚 Yesterday, I attended Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®’s Detroit Metro Chapters 2026 118th Founders’ Day Celebration and was honored to serve on the Publicity Committee as Co-Chairman for this event alongside two amazing women: @talkingwithnana and @detroit_desi.

Being able to witness the beauty, excellence, and legacy of our sisterhood come to life in the room was truly special.

Our 20 Pearls lit a torch that continues to guide us today, and we are still carrying that torch with purpose, grace, and a deep commitment to service to all mankind.

Still We Rise… 🙏
