sometimes I wonder if the well is too complicated and contaminated, then you hold me in your arms and nothing else matters

and I’m reminded that love requires endurance for where we plan on going 🥺

Wish I could say I was more confident going into this event, but I’m glad I had no expectations. I don’t think the results would’ve been the same if I did. 😅

World-O-Rama: Future Champs Finalists!

Was in and out of Nashville pretty quickly just for Arthur Murray’s Future Champs division at World-O-Rama last weekend! It felt foreign being at a big event without students or the full Ocala/Gainesville squad 💔 But we have such a wonderful community within Area 3 that made sure we were supported and taken care of along the way. 🥹

Considering we didn’t even get called back at our first DOR, placing 6th in the finals at our second is progress (all within 7 months)!! 😭 The mantra has been: ✨detach yourself from the outcome✨ and I think it’s definitely helping me find more grace with myself and my dance partner 😅

The BIGGEST thank you’s to:
🖤 @lindsay_milam for my immovable hair!
🩶 @doredesigns for the most BEAUTIFUL dresses!
🤍 @gioia.reni for being my fairy godmother, checking in with me to make sure I was set up for success!
💙 @twistlowkey03 for trucking to a new DOR with me!
🩵 My community - Aubrey & Nick, my Ocala/Gainesville staff & students, Area 3, my pups, and Tony (the LOML!) - for all the support and inspiration 🥹

When one chapter ends, another begins. Onto the next big endeavor! ✨
