Sometimes last month, my friend said we needed to try out this new café, Café 901, in Jericho, just to breeze out our stressed bodies and feel afresh. Because all work and no play makes the girls dull. 😂
I agreed, and when we got the menu, she looked at everything and just said, “Peace, I no fit chop all these ones oo. Abeg, make dem just carry chicken wings for me.” 😂😂😂
Laugh wan finish me!

She ordered exactly what she said, while I went for a completely different meal.
Did I want to cry when mine arrived? YES!!! 😭😂
Did I enjoy the meal? I won’t say No, and I won’t say Yes. 😂
Did my friend eat from my meal? YES!!!
What an olojukokoro human being! 😂😂😂

But afterwards, something struck me.
Just like we sat at that table and made different choices from the same menu, life gives us so many choices too. We choose different paths, pursue different dreams, make different decisions, get distracted by different things, and sometimes convince ourselves that we know what is best for us.
But in the midst of all these choices, there is one place our hearts will always need to return to—Christ.
Because no matter how far we go, what we achieve, who we become, or how many things we try to fill our hearts with, nothing can take the place of Jesus❤️.

We may wander, but His grace keeps calling.
We may choose our own way, but His love keeps drawing us back.
We may think we have found everything we need, only to realise that Jesus was what our souls were searching for all along.
At the end of all our choices, Christ remains the choice that matters most.
And when life is over, may we not just have tried everything the world had to offer, but may we have found our way back to the One who has been waiting for us all along.
After all our choices, may we choose Christ.
After all our journeys, may we return to Christ.
After everything, may our hearts still find their way home to Jesus. ❤️
Because truly, nothing compares to knowing Christ. ✝️❤️
