Despite the intense heat this past weekend, I had a great time attending two great events.The weekend began in El Segundo at the event hosted by @hondaracing_us , @stickydiljoe , @sara.choi & @aaronbhall . Joey reached out and invited me to arrive early to park with the HRC race cars, which was an incredible opportunity. It was great to catch up with friends from NorCal and see my friend @seanstell , who was working the event. I really appreciated Sean and his team providing snacks, drinks, and HRC merchandise. A major highlight was when the HRC team parked their race car and the Realtime Racing 1997 Acura Integra Type R on either side of my car—it was an honor to be positioned between two such legendary vehicles.Afterward, I headed down to Temecula to prepare for the next day at @thehondameet . I met up with some local enthusiasts from Murrieta and friends from San Diego for the drive to Lake Elsinore. We had a caravan of over 20 cars, which was a great experience. I haven’t attended The Honda Meet since 2016, so it was refreshing to see how the event has evolved since I first attended as a spectator in the early 2000s. I want to thank @thebigmike , @ryanhoegner and their staff for accommodating our group so we could park together.It was great to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. I also want to extend a special thanks to @louieruvalcaba and @christianoruvalcaba for sharing their EZ-UP with my son @retroshootz and me, as well as for the food and drinks.Overall, it was a successful weekend.Photo Credit: @tuazonryan by @itr_alex
