Hi guys! Meet Spencer & Steve, the owners of Always Open Beach Cottage! We wanted you all to have faces to connect with the house & our style 😝
A little back story on both of us — Steve has a background in music. He was a drummer in a touring band for 15 years and is now wedding videographer.
I have a background in fashion & have always had a love for interior design.
We both crave creativity and found a passion in renovating & designing homes! Steve is more the manual labor side & I do all the designing (but there’s definitely some overlap!) It’s the perfect balance.
We wanted to create a space that is more than just a place to stay overnight near the beach. We wanted a space that is a destination for families, couples, girls trips, anything really to create forever lasting memories. We want to be your go to space to have family photos done, host a workshop or have an intimate baby shower.
We’re all about a beautifully designed space with function & we can’t wait for you to experience our cottage! So come stay with us, we’re always open! ☺️🤍 #alwaysopenpcb

At first I was like 😖 but then I was like 🤩
Our beach cottage, built in 1970 had never been updated until we got our hands on it! All of the wood paneling made it really dark, so we painted everything white, opened up part of the kitchen to create a bar + more counter space & brought in cozy yet modern furnishings and voilà! ALWAYS OPEN WAS BORN! 🥰🐚 #alwaysopenpcb taken in Laguna Beach, Florida by @its.alwaysopen

Feeling so grateful as I look back on 2024 and all the love, chaos, and memories that made it so special. ✨ This Christmas shoot with my girls from last year is too sweet not to share again (shout out to @its.alwaysopen for letting me use your space)—because nothing reminds me of what matters more than them. ❤️

This year was BUSY. Somehow, I managed to read 28 books 📚 while running a business, being a mom, cheering on Luna in competitive cheer, helping my husband recover from a back injury, and keeping up with my wild, free-spirited Lola. Life is never without its ups and downs, but it’s full of so much good because of all of YOU.

To my clients, friends, and family—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your trust, love, and support mean the world to me. Cheers to making 2025 just as full of joy, growth, and connection. 🥂✨

P.S. Moms, let’s not forget to capture the magic of being in the frame with our kiddos. You’ll never regret it. ❤️ merry Christmas lovelies! 🎄 taken in Laguna Beach, Florida by @its.alwaysopen

save if you’re going to the gulf coast!

we spent 5 days in the 30A area and it wasn’t enough, there’re soo many cute places to go to 🤩

our air b n b just 10 mins away from 30A: @its.alwaysopen

Coffee spots:
@rawandjuicyalysbeach
@fonville.press
@beachybean.coffee.co

Dinner:
@thecitizenalys
Food trucks at Seaside Beach

Beaches
Laguna Beach near the air b n b was nice and calm + easy public access (not technically in 30A)
Rented chairs at Seaside beach from the cabana man to get access and it was amazing!
Inlet beach also has public access but we didn’t have time to go

we will be back!! 🌊🌴☀️
