I’m so thankful for this man in my life!
Meeting him a year ago was the greatest gift and surprise I could have ever asked 🫠 It’s always worth trusting God’s timing and His plan 🤍

Austin, I’m so grateful for who you are. Your sense of humor is amazing, but even more your incredible heart — full of caring, love for God, and love for people. I’m so proud of you and inspired by how you stand faithfully in your faith, take brave steps, don’t give up, but trust God even through challenges and storms. I’m thankful how He formed you through your whole life, to become a man like you are today 🫶🏼 I’m grateful that we can see the beauty in ordinary moments together and turn them into something extraordinary through a perspective full of joy and gratitude. I pray we never stop doing that!

One of the highlights of my 2025! Surprising my mom!

Due to the generosity, time, and effort of so many we were able to pull off multiple surprises to make this incredible lady’s birthday special! So thankful for all those involved! Unfortunately I don’t have videos of the second surprise where 50 of her loved ones surprised her, but the memories will last a lifetime!

The 20 Years of Friendship Trip aka the Southbound Sun Seeking Soul Spring.

It’s been a few months, but this is a trip that we’ll be talking about forever.
10 days on the road and hitting the 100k km milestone on day one. Every day going simply where we felt led. In a world vying for our attention, it was nice to spend some time with a dear friend, giving attention to the things that truly matter. It’s hard to recognize how fast you’ve been going until you take the time to slow down. I highly recommend it.

I’m forever grateful for long drives, good tunes, tasty creations, crisp Radlers, cold plunges, workouts with a view, sunrises, sunsets, skies that opened up so we could see the stars, dance sessions, honest conversations, unbelievable Park4Night camping spot pulls, our new dog friend, impromptu interviews, and spontaneous singing!

And that’s my ‘22!

2022 started and ended for me in Texas reading my nephew, Colt, bedtime stories. Only he’s been growing like a weed in my absence!

2022 has not been an easy one for me, due to the adjustments of starting a full time job abroad, learning to lead two teams in a foreign country, to transition healthily, to manage relationships here and abroad, and to dealing with chronic pain.

However, this reel reminds me of all the good that came with ‘22 as well: plenty of time with friends and family, the opportunity to live and work in a church I love in a city I love with people I love, a project van to build out as a camper (with plenty of help from friends), new relationships, deepened self-awareness, the adventures of a lifetime, and friends and colleagues who have stuck by me in my lowest or weakest of moments, as well as God always meeting me with His love, grace and mercy when I needed Him most.

This year has also taught me so much about what I deem important, so although I love to stay connected with people via this app, I think 2023 needs to be a year of being present with God and the world around me! I pray that my time away from social media will result in even more revelations about God, myself and others!
