10,000 MAKES. 🏀❤️

Not 10,000 shots… 10,000 MADE BASKETS. I couldn’t be more proud of my boy.

Since May, he made it a goal to get out and shoot about 120 shots almost every single day. Through a busy summer filled with all the things, he stayed committed. Most mornings he’d get up and get his makes in first so he could go play and enjoy the rest of his day.

Rain, he still went out. Getting dark, he was still out there. Busy day, he found a way. And in late August, he finally reached 10,000 makes. 🙌🏼

What makes us most proud isn’t just the number. It’s the discipline, consistency, and determination it took to get there. He set a big goal for himself this year and followed through, one make at a time.

Mom, Dad, and Remi definitely got their share of basketball time with all the “just a few more” or “watch this” gazillion times.” 🫠However, already miss it a little…
And Remi, being the sweet girl she is, made him the cutest sign for his last day, which made the whole thing that much more special. 🥹

Keep putting in the work, buddy. You’re capable of so much more than you realize!

First day of school! 📚

Remi is off to 5th grade! Still girly as ever and already looking forward to running for Student Council. 💗✨

Winston is headed to 3rd grade! Loves all things sports, all the time, thinks he’s pretty hot stuff, and has discovered he likes the girls…which feels like a problem we didn’t ask for this early on. 🤣😎

Watching Remi do what she loves is one of my favorite things. She spends so much time practicing, learning new contemporary moves, and pushing herself to get better every day. We’ve started letting her earn athletic and matching sets she picks out herself as a reward for her hard work, and it’s been so fun to watch her take pride in what she’s accomplished. We want our kids to understand that the things they love are worth working for and Remi is showing us exactly what that looks like.

Nine years of watching you chase every ball, every finish line, and every opportunity to compete. Whether it’s baseball, basketball, flag football, and now track, you give everything you have and never back down from a challenge!

You are determined, persistent, and driven. When you set your mind to something, there’s no stopping you. You work hard, speak your mind, and have a way of making things happen because you simply refuse to quit!

What I love most, though, is the heart behind all that strength. You care deeply, you want to do your best, and you hold yourself to such a high standard. Sometimes you’re tougher on yourself than anyone else could ever be, but that same passion is what makes you so special.❤️
