& even the dessert were saying something. This cheesecake did not come to play and we thoroughly enjoyed it, honestly it could have happily fed 3 people.

new rule: midweek dates only happen at @netil360 now, no exceptions 🍕🍷
girls’ night with @isa___y, mandatory pizza, zero self-control

PS Tuesdays this summer are basically a happy hour cheat code: £5 pints, 50% off pizza + aperol, £20 wine bottles (5:30-7PM).
GF girlies, you’re not left out either 🍕

*not sponsored, we just have a concerning amount of loyalty to this place

GFC1| 🪷follow @its.ellaky so you don’t miss a thing!

I had to come back with some serious smoke and chose @kolamba.ldn to do so!

Kolamba is a Sri Lankan London restaurant with branches in Shoreditch & Soho they provide

I had the Kolamba Favourites at their Soho branch. This £42pp set menu is the owners’ personal selection, the dishes he would share with his own family and friends around the table. The menu includes their amazing poppdams which are light and crispy, their mutton which was nicely tender paired with siracha which gave it a nice spicy kick.
The Ceylon Chicken Curry was an absolute highlight with amazingly seasoned and tender chicken. Lastly we had their coconut ice cream and their chocolate watalappam which I could have on repeat this summer, with its giggly consistency and nutty aftertaste it really stole my heart.

We washed everything down with a bottle of their house Chardonnay (£29)

Scorecard:
🍴4.5/5
👩🏽‍💼 4.5/5
💸 4/5

Q1 highlights because the only words I have to describe these last 3 months are:

Cried myself an ocеan
Tryin’ not to drown in it
Lord, send me a lifеboat
Something I could cling to
Something I can hold on
I don’t know how I’m gonna do this
But I know I’m not givin’ up (@raye, lifeboat)

If you were here to stop me from drowning all I have to say is THANK YOU. I am the type of person that is unable to ask for help but in this journey I managed to find people that will check on me in the midst of the chaos, real MVPs that will catch a flight, regularly ask me if I am doing okay or pray for me.

May Q2 be kinder to me, but in the meantime here’s a proof of life.
