Fancy loves going to law school events with mom, especially when her godmoms are involved. She thinks nothing says October like sweater weather and a chili cook-off (& it’s only her first October on this earth!) 🌶️🍂

Dressed for the occasion, Fancy picked out her Brown Check Arlo sweater from @furb.co to wear, paired with her camel leather leash + waste bag holder from @brannipets. The look was carefully coordinated with mom’s brown sweater and tan @ralphlauren Polo ID bag. Fancy is a firm believer in a matching mother-daughter moment.

As a woman in law herself, Fancy had the best time supporting @utklawwomen at their annual chili cook-off. While mom & godmoms’ chili, spice spice baby, did not take home the win, Fancy was #winning all night. Between modeling for @tayy.beth, barking at the other dogs at @hiwirebrewing_knx, taking photobooth pics with @quen_25, and soaking up the love from her godmoms, she was booked, busy, and basking in all the attention.

Finally, a special shoutout to one of Fancy’s loyal caregivers, @katlyne_green18, whose dedication to Fancy’s social calendar does not go unnoticed. As president of The Winston Volunteers, Katlyne is teaching Fancy how to give back this fall. Fancy never passes up an opportunity to get involved at the law school and wants everyone to join her in getting involved with @thewinstonvolunteers’ animal supply drive for @ywacpets here in Knox. Fancy thinks every animal deserves to experience the life of luxury she has grown accustomed to- she is a grateful little bean.🤎 #sliving #chili taken in University of Tennessee Winston College of Law by @its.fancy.pants

F is for Fancy & Fall (and @furb.co) 🍁🤎! by @its.fancy.pants

Fancy has experienced both the lowest lows and highest highs of her young precious life over the past two weeks. She has been through surgery, a dramatic recovery, a trip to the spa, and her first day of daycare. She is finally ready to discuss it all.

Two weeks ago, Fancy got spayed. Although she went in ready, she had a tough time bouncing back. She felt woozy from the anesthesia, was having a bad hair day, and did not appreciate having her natural energy muted. It is safe to say Fancy will never be a drug addict. After two days of being pampered, loved on, and sleeping for approximately 48 hours straight, she returned to her normal activities of jumping on the couch and chasing her cat brother, Lumpy.

Post-successful stitches removal, Fancy had a lot of pent-up energy to get out. She made multiple trips to the dog park and attended her playgroup test session to see if she would be admitted to daycare. She passed with flying colors, terrorized a Great Dane 20x her weight, and swam in her favorite water canoe.

After all that activity, she took a much-overdue trip to the spa @pawzdogservices. She got the best little haircut, a cute bandana, and felt like a local celebrity after seeing herself on the September grooming ad in the lobby. Naturally, she needed somewhere to show off her new hairdo, so she headed to her first day of daycare @thebarkknox.
Fancy had a great first day, made a new bestie, and enjoyed pup cup day. Her report card informed me that she played well with others, participated in the games “red rover” and “the ramp is lava” and enjoyed the smell “rosemary” and the sound of “flute.” After coming home, she slept for about 15 hours and is still recovering from her social calendar.

To top it all off, Fancy is very happy the weather is finally cooling down. She traded her surgery cone for sweaters and has loved dressing up in cozy fall outfits all week. She can’t wait for her next daycare day and is already preparing for spooky season and the many Halloween costumes she has picked out. This week, Fancy learned an important life lesson: some weeks are diamonds, and some weeks are rocks. Fancy is much more accustomed to diamonds. #doglife 🐾💎 taken in Knoxville, Tennessee by @its.fancy.pants

Ms. Fancy Pants has had a very busy past two weeks and continues to think being a little dog in Knoxville, Tennessee is a pretty great way to live. 🐾 🌄

Fancy’s social calendar included trivia at @hiwirebrewing_knx, where Team Fancy Pants did not take the dub, but it was only a warm-up round… (at least Fancy had a cute @furb.co sweater on). One week later at @pourtaproomknoxville, Team Fancy Pants came back and took the lead. Fancy looked so cute accepting her trophy in her @oliveandcouperco_ ladybug bandana. Fancy used the table as her personal catwalk, tried to drink everyone’s drinks, and soaked up plenty of attention from her beloved god moms. *ੈ🍸✩‧₊˚

Between appearances, Fancy moved into a new pink crate, which she loves to nap in when she isn’t guarding the apartment from the roof. She cuddled with brother Lumpy, joined Mom and god mom Mia for margaritas at @sokno_taco, played study buddy from her preferred seat on top of the table, and hit the pool in her pink leopard swimsuit with Mom and Shelby. She also got a Minion shirt, because if Fancy could speak, she would speak exclusively in Minionese. ₊˚⊹ 𐂯

Fancy expanded her social circle too. She caught a ride from god mom Shelby’s man, Dr. Miguel, met her new friend Melon @kernsknox, made some new friends at the Downtown Dog Park (including Brisket the English Bulldog), and navigated the trails at @ijamsnaturecenter in true tiny-trekker fashion. 🐶🐕🐕‍🦺🦮🐩

Fancy got the cutest silver collar from @littlebeast.co. It makes her feel glamorous, trendy, and expensive. And perhaps the biggest accomplishment of all: after a week of tummy troubles and a trip to the vet, Fancy is finally taking solid poops again. ✮⋆˙

Fancy is very thankful for her extended family and all the adventures they welcome her to join. She will now require approximately two weeks of naps to recover from the past two weeks of activities. ⋆🐾⋆ #shihpom taken in Knoxville, Tennessee by @its.fancy.pants

Tiny trekker embarked on her very first camping trip this past weekend and had the time of her life. 🏕️🤎

Aside from being stopped by countless trail strangers for pets and compliments, Fancy explored Cardens Bluff, swam in Lake Watauga (where she blended in perfectly with the rocks), and dug some fun holes at the campground in the Cherokee National Forest. At night, Fancy blended in with the lightning bugs with her neon pink collar (bc she is as petite as a bug, she has to glow in case she gets lost). 🪲

After sleeping peacefully through a night of heavy rain, Tiny Trekker crossed into North Carolina to explore Roan Mountain. This was her first time crossing state lines (that she remembers). After only one unfortunate accidental poop in the gift shop, Fancy was pooped out herself. She slept the entire drive home, except when we made at stop at Buc-ee’s. Fancy was absolutely traumatized by the Buc-ee’s statue and has spent the last few days recovering from both her terrifying beaver encounter and her weekend full of nature.

Fancy is already asking me where we are going next. 🌲⛰️ #outdoorbean

Fancy had a wonderful day on the lake celebrating her very first (& America’s 250th) Fourth of July. 🇺🇸♥️🐾

She made several public appearances in her tiny life vest (size xxxs), swam in the lake, and danced to patriotic tunes with her god moms. Fancy loves the lake almost as much as she loves America. Any day spent in the great outdoors is a good day for Fancy. #patrioticbean 🫘 taken in Dockside Grill at Tellico Marina by @its.fancy.pants

Fancy has been dreaming she’s on the tennis court lately 🎾🤍 but until she’s fully vaccinated, the balcony will have to do.

She absolutely loves her Forty Love Ivory Knit Sweater from @furb.co! It is the perfect outfit for a girl who loves tennis balls. 🐾🎾

Fancy is so sleepy after the busy couple weeks she’s had 💤🤎 to catch everyone up, she wanted to share her rose, thorn, & bud of the last few weeks 🌹 Fancy recently discovered long-form storytelling & unfortunately has had too much going on to keep this short.

🌧️ Thorn(s): Fancy is addressing the rumors 🐾 a cyber bully attempted to create an evil alter ego of her online & tarnish Fancy’s carefully curated public image. she still doesn’t know who was behind the attack 😔 thankfully the public knows she is actually the sweetest fluff alive, so the scandal didn’t gain much traction 🤍 but still very hurtful & defamatory to a tiny celebrity bean like her :(

Fancy also had a rough vet visit: she got 2 vaccines, was diagnosed w/ a double ear infection, & found out her Giardia didn’t go away (now has extra strength antibiotics for round 2) 💔💩

🌹 Roses: Fancy helped mom finish moving into her new apt, start her new job, & visit Nashville for grandmama’s bday 🎂 she also spent lots of time playing w/ (torturing) Uncle Archie, hanging w/ her new bestie Mel, & enjoying many pup cups 🐾 Mel’s mom, @caylienspaceship, gifted Fancy a new lamby toy & she has played w/ it nonstop all week 🤍🐑

Fancy has loved people-watching from the balcony, esp the frat boys playing cornhole by the pool (their bean bags & loud noises mesmerize her) 🌅 Fancy is also happy bc Lumpy officially moved in! 🐈‍⬛ despite being 12 lbs bigger than her, Fancy still bites his tail, steals his bed, & eats his food. sweet Lump has been a patient boy, but isn’t afraid to give her a swat to teach her manners 🐾

🌱Bud: After her online scandal & health scares, life is finally looking up for Miss Pants 🌞 She received 2 exciting PR packages from @furb.co & @oliveandcouperco_ & cannot wait to dress up & model them for you all 📸

Also, she learned how to scale the walls of her playpen like a tiny prison escape artist & cannot wait for her future adventures as a free-range living-room dog 🐕🐓 much to mom’s chagrin.

If you read all of this, Fancy assumes you are either unemployed or deeply concerned for her well-being & she appreciates the support <3 🐾 taken in Knoxville, Tennessee by @its.fancy.pants
