From mum mode to sexy mamacita 💃🏼🔥

Girls’ dinner called for a little dress shopping and apparently I was feeling a bit bloody daring 😂

She’s got the cutouts, she’s got the open back and she’s got me praying I don’t pop a titty halfway through dinner.

But honestly, how bloody good is it to get dressed up, do your hair and makeup and feel a little bit sexy again?! 🍒

💌 Comment DRESS and I’ll send you the link!

Turns out you CAN have big ass artwork without selling your left kidney 😂

I could not find a landscape canvas big enough for above our super king bed that didn’t cost an absolute fortune… so I bought a portrait one and flipped the big bastard 🤷🏼‍♀️

Kept the original D-rings, added some picture wire from Bunnings and somehow managed to hang the bloody thing 100% LEVEL on the first attempt. Honestly, my greatest achievement to date 😂

She’s big. She’s boujee. She didn’t cost me a kidney.

Budget to Boujee bedroom glow up continues ✨

A king bed is simply NOT big enough when you share it with two kids, a dog and a man child 😂

So the bedroom glow up continues and we’ve upgraded to a big fuck-off SUPER KING 🙌🏼

Was getting this absolute monstrosity up the stairs and putting it together a family affair? Yes. Do I have any regrets? Not one.

Now to finish the rest of this bedroom makeover and turn this space into the cosy, boujee bedroom of my dreams ✨

And no, the rest of the family will NOT be enjoying my new super king bed just yet 😂

A little bedroom makeover trip down memory lane… I’d almost forgotten just how DARK this room used to be 😳

Black carpet, dark tinted windows and one of the most frustrating DIY jobs I’ve ever attempted.

Now we have new floorboards, ALL that natural light and a blank canvas ready for the next stage of our bedroom transformation 🤍

Be honest… would you have kept the black carpet or are you team floorboards? 👀

Christmas shopping is expensive enough… so, if I’m spending the money anyway, you better believe I’m getting some of it back 😂💸

I’ve earned almost $1,900 cashback through ShopBack just by doing my usual online shopping, and with Christmas less than 90 days away, this is your reminder to make every dollar count!

Before you check out, check ShopBack 🎄🛍️

Outfits I wore this week as a stay-at-home mum of two. Literally nothing better than capsule pieces that you can mix and match for any occasion - @theselfstyler are absolutely slaying at the moment!

Consider this your reminder to clean the thing you probably forgot needed cleaning 👀✨

Nothing beats a freshly cleaned bedroom rug. Adding this one to the deep cleaning routine 🧼

100 days post bone marrow transplant 🤍

100 days since a complete stranger gave Kev a second chance at life.

After an MDS diagnosis, months of treatment and a stem cell transplant, today feels pretty bloody special.

Forever grateful for the stranger who chose to become a donor and gave our family the greatest gift of all. 🥹🤍

The GARAGE GLOW UP has officially become a whole HOME GLOW UP 🏠✨and our king bed is next to go 🫠

Two kids + a dog + a man child + me = absolutely NOT enough room.

I’ve accepted that everyone somehow ends up in our bed, so instead of fighting it, we’re upgrading it. At this point, I’d do just about anything for a full night’s sleep 😴

The old bed is out, we’ve been testing MUCH bigger beds and I think we’ve found the one… 👀

Any guesses what size we went with?

Follow along for the next part of our bedroom makeover and Home Glow Up series 🤍

What does it REALLY cost to turn a garage into a home gym? 👀💸

The answer for us was $8,844.40…

That covered the garage painting, epoxy flooring, rubber gym mats, electrical work, gym equipment and delivery.

Was building a home gym cheap? Absolutely not. Was it worth it? For us, absolutely.

After Kev’s diagnosis, we wanted to create a space where he could focus on his rehabilitation and rebuild his strength at home. It also means no commute, no waiting for gym equipment, no organising childcare and no ongoing gym memberships.

Our garage gym has made home workouts so much easier for both of us, and it’s genuinely one of the best things we’ve spent money on.

Would you spend almost $9,000 converting your garage into a home gym, or would you rather keep your gym membership? Tell me below 👇

There’s something so beautiful about motherhood.

For months, your body is their first home.
It grows every tiny part of them before you’ve even met them.

And then they arrive… and suddenly, they become part of your reason for looking after you too.

You want the energy to run beside them.
The strength to carry them while they still ask.
To be there for the park trips, the adventures, the chaos and all the ordinary little moments in between.

Maybe you want to feel stronger.
Maybe you want to feel more like yourself.

Your body created them.

And now, in their own little way, they’re reminding you that taking care of you matters too. 🤎 by @its.fran.close
