With the sun setting, the sound of the sea in the background, raising a glass with new and old friends and enjoying an 8-course dining experience showcasing some of the most delicious produce Cornwall has to offer… it really was a pretty special evening! 🥂

I’ve been wanting to get myself to a @naughtynonnas event for SO long and apparently their 4th birthday was the perfect excuse 🤌

If they’re not already on your radar, Naughty Nonna’s are all about bringing people together over seriously good Italian-inspired food, with supper clubs, feasts and events that always look like SUCH a vibe… and I can now confirm they absolutely are 👀

Plates piled high, plenty of Nonna’s punch and one hell of a spread to celebrate four years ✨ Safe to say my first event definitely won’t be my last 🫶

Ad | Lunch but make it Cornish 🦞🥂

Yesterday my mum and I headed over to St Mawes for the Endless Lunch at @idlerocks x @maisonmirabeau.

It’s a lovely long lunch where you can settle in, take your time and enjoy course after course of seriously good food, all while looking out over St Mawes Harbour… basically my idea of a perfect afternoon!

There was plenty of eating, lots of chatting, a beautiful view and absolutely no need to rush anywhere. 😌

If you’re looking for an excuse for a long lunch in Cornwall… I’d certainly recommend 🌊

Finally make it over to the island I’ve looked at for years 👀

We’re pretty lucky here in Plymouth to have so much of the water right on our doorstep. Whether you’re a seasoned sea swimmer, paddleboarder or more of a wave-watcher from the waterfront, there’s always a reason to get outside and make the most of this beautiful ocean city. 🌊

Paddling out to Drake’s Island was a BIG bucket list tick for me. I’ve lived in Plymouth all my life and had somehow never actually been over to the island, so getting to finally see it from the water felt pretty special.

There’s something about seeing a place you’ve known your whole life from a completely different perspective that makes you appreciate home all over again 🥹

So, if you’re local, take this as your little reminder to explore what’s right on your doorstep. And if you’re not… well, consider this your sign to come and discover our little corner of the world for yourself 😁
