I’m awake, I build worlds in my head.

That’s what I do when I’m not asleep.

I build worlds in my head.

After all this time,
what has happened to my heart?
Ache,
Break,
Repeat.
It feels like a hundred years since I last breathed.
Now I’m in a place I can hardly describe.
How can I be saved
when I’m stuck here, blind?
Frozen.
not by my choice,
yet something I prefer.
We can agree on one thing:
to relish in the void
where it is safer.

Can you see what lies beneath the surface of it all?
Where skin meets skin and mind meets soul?
What could've been if only?
Do you reach or do you retreat?
Watch the stars for anything you may find.
Hold the pieces gently, if you would be so kind.

Inescapable

The madness feels breathable.
It is surrounding,
slipping in through tiny openings.

My thoughts are cruel.
Instead of running,
we embrace the ruins.

Like a slave to his master,
a moth to the flame,
I run from it no more.

We are one with pain.

She breathes life.
Chaos, yet in order.
Even when the world seems against her,
she perseveres.

She is vicious.
She is love.
She is many nice things
scrambled up.

A queen.
A thief,
because that’s exactly how you’d feel
when you realise
where your heart is.

She is stillness
woven into storms,
a whisper that bends mountains,
a gaze that turns the tide.

She is the silence
that speaks louder than thunder,
the calm hand,
that teaches chaos to rest.

SHE IS

Crazy
is what they say
when you refuse
to look the other way.

Serpentine mind tricks,
slithering in the haze…
but you’ll find no halo,
no crown in its place.

Crazy
for you to say
she cares for what you might think.
Stroked through with black ink,
she redefines what art means.

To believe your lies
would be insanity,
she lives to bring catastrophe.

A panther.
A dove.
She has no antidote
only chaos
carved into grace.

She is stunning, embodied in every way.

She commands silence amidst any storm.

Her gaze leaves liquid fire in its wake.

Whispers from her lips can stir mountains to shake.

She is magnificent, a true beauty, without doubt.

Where her touch lingers, desire is born.

It would be much better if my insides seared at the reminder of you,
For your sake.
Alas, arctic mind-altering numbness relics,
And I wonder...
What could've been felt, as I can't feel?
This Alien feeling,
I believe it saved me.
