Although I may never fully understand God’s plan, I trust that His wisdom is far greater than mine. In our human hearts, we often try to piece together the puzzle, searching for meaning where the pain feels too heavy. As I sit with this loss, this is the vision God placed on my heart.I imagine it was not an easy decision for Him. Two bright, loving, faithful men stood before Him both kind, both cherished, both leaving behind a legacy and a community who adored them. How could he choose? One without the other simply would not be whole. And so, in His infinite love, He made the choice to call them home together.Their light was too radiant for this world, their bond too strong to ever be broken. In Heaven, they continue their journey side by side laughing, checking out each other’s wings, maybe even playfully debating whose mansion is bigger. Because that’s what brothers do.So while our hearts ache, we rest in the promise of everlasting life.
