WORLD CHAMP BABY 🍾
.
.
.
I played against one of my biggest rivals and friends in the final @izsakanna8 🙏🏼 last year she won in the semi finals against me, where I then took the bronze. Being one of my only losses, I distinctly remember the sting. And for this reason, I am so grateful to have come on top as the singles world champion. This comes with a lot of help. First and most importantly my partner in life and in sport @officialfrankdiaz thank you for being the best coach and partner. Thank you for always pushing me as my biggest competitor and ally. Though injured you were still on stage with me, and this one’s for both of us. @calstormsoccer @defttouchsoccercenter @recvroc @fisherchiropracticla many thanks for supporting me through it all. I wouldn’t be here without you. Time to celebrate a little and enjoy this moment. 🌎🏆 by @its__carol

Last weekend, I walked away from Budapest with some silver and a new friend 🤗🥈 Bummed to have lost, but it was surreal to meet the legend @ronaldinho 🧡⚽️ Thank you for your encouraging words and kindness. Also a big thanks to my sponsor @calstormsoccer 🙏🏼 It’s truly a full circle moment for me to be wearing this kit. The Cal Storm believed me me at the very beginning of my professional soccer career and I’ll never forget it! I’m so thrilled to represent the squad once again⚡️ by @its__carol

Turns out life had a different flight plan. 🪽✨
Different uniform. Same dream. ✈️🌎
.
A little over a year ago, I had knee surgery on my ACL.
That night, I couldn’t stop thinking about what life would look like after sports. Somewhere between the fear and uncertainty, I had a crazy idea: become a flight attendant.
The next morning I told a few people. I don’t think anyone believed me.
Honestly, I’m not sure I did either.
Since then, I’ve quietly retired from professional sports, completed one of the most challenging experiences of my life, and found a new way to do what I love most: see the world.
Yesterday I graduated from flight attendant training and I am beyond excited to embark on this next chapter.
To my Class 26-14 family, I’m so proud of us. See you in the friendly skies. 💕✈️ #americanairlines #flightattendant by @its__carol
