The MD OH Fam at The Vatican 🇻🇦

We visited the smallest country in the world yayyy!

🇻🇦 The Vatican City is officially the smallest country in the world! At just 0.17 square miles, it’s smaller than many neighborhoods, but packed with centuries of history, priceless art, and iconic architecture. Glad to experience it.

Smallest country. HUGE history. 🏛️

Buongiorno from Dr. OHHH in Italy! 🇮🇹

Today we climbed 439 steps to the top of the Vittoriano Monument in Rome, and the views were absolutely worth it!

Health tip: Stair climbing is a powerful workout that strengthens your heart, lungs, bones, and lower-body muscles. But remember, rest is part of fitness. Taking short recovery breaks helps restore oxygen to your muscles, reduces fatigue, and keeps you performing at your best.

Keep moving, keep exploring, and ciao from Rome! 🇮🇹❤️

#FunctionalNutrition by @its_bami

It is official. I graduated from Notre Dame of Maryland University, the nation’s leading university for integrative health and nutrition, NDMU School of Integrative Health (formerly Maryland University of Integrative Health) on May 19, 2026.

I’m honored to officially say that I am no longer a doctoral candidate, I am now a double doctor.

As a Black woman in healthcare, clinical nutrition, and functional medicine, this accomplishment carries deep meaning. Only about 2% of dietitians in the United States are Black, and less than 1% of Black women hold a Doctorate of Clinical Nutrition degree with a focus in functional medicine.

This journey required sacrifice, faith, resilience, long nights, entrepreneurship, motherhood, service, and an unwavering commitment to improving the health of underserved communities. My mission has always been bigger than titles, it is about representation, education, healing, and creating access where gaps still exist.

I’m also deeply honored to have been selected by the Dean of the School of Integrative Health to be spotlighted through Merit recognition, a moment that reflects not only academic achievement, but purpose, leadership, and community impact throughout this journey.

To everyone who supported, prayed for, encouraged, and believed in me throughout this process, thank you. And to the next generation of leaders, especially young Black children, let this be a reminder that your dreams are valid, your voice matters, and your purpose is greater than any limitation society tries to place on you. Representation matters, and I pray my journey shows that excellence, faith, and perseverance can open doors not only for ourselves, but for entire communities.

This degree is not just for me. It is for every community affected by food deserts, chronic disease, health inequities, and lack of access to education and preventive care. I remain committed to using clinical nutrition, functional medicine, research, entrepreneurship, and education to create meaningful change.

To God be all the glory. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.

IGNITE CHURCH is celebrating 10 years this Sunday!

And instead of just receiving, we’re giving because that’s our heart.
🧡

This year, our special gift is simple and powerful:
You can donate directly from our Amazon list to support the underserved. Here

Let’s turn celebration into impact.
Let’s turn gratitude into generosity.

1. The Heart Behind Our Work

For over ten years, Changemakers Outreach has carried one simple mission,
to love people not just with words, but with action.

Because serving isn’t an event for us.
It’s who we are.

2. The Impact of the Work

We’ve helped build futures by helping families secure a place to call home
Cooked meals for families in crisis.
Fed the hungry.
Prayed with the forgotten.
Stood with the vulnerable.

Not for applause.
Not for recognition.
But because love shows up.

3. Clear Call to Action

And this March, we show up again.

Join us on Sunday, March 8th for Packing Day
as we prepare care packages for the unhoused.

Then on Saturday, March 14th at 9 AM,
we step into DC and Silver Spring
to serve face-to-face.

Don’t just hear about love.
Be part of it.

Happy Birthday to Meeee, Your Favorite Plant-based Doc 🍎 🍏!!

O L U W A T O S I N, THAT'S MY NAME 💚
(A whole song with my name 😉)

Meaning:“God is worthy to be praised.”

Today I celebrate another year of life, growth, and grace. I smile not just with my teeth, but from my heart.

A smile shaped by lessons learned, prayers answered, quiet strength, and joy that carried me through every season.

This smile holds gratitude for where I’ve been, peace in where I am, and faith for where I’m going.
It reflects resilience, purpose, and a deep love for the community that continues to support me.

Cheers to another year of choosing joy, walking boldly in purpose, and smiling from a place that’s real, wealthy in love, rooted, and full.

Happy Birthday to me 🎉

P.S. Huge shoutout to my photographer
