I went to visit my childhood friend today. Recently, we had to give Angus to a retirement home of sorts because of how busy my mom’s and my lives have become. It was a hard decision, but we wanted him to have more space to roam freely and be around other animals, not confined to a small area.

I still remember the day my father took us to the store and we brought him home. We later found out the breeder had been mistreating the animals, which makes me even more grateful we were able to give him a life filled with love. I’m just thankful I got to grow up with him from a kid to a grown man…he was always there. by @its_easte
