Accessibility:
Solace is located down a flat, mostly sealed alleyway. There is a single step leading through the 110cm wide entrance door, which leads to the ground level listening bar. There are no further steps to access this bar, however there are no bathrooms. There are two flights of 25-step stairs leading up the LV1, gender-neutral bathrooms and chillout area. Following another two flights of 25-step stairs is the club level. Unfortunately, aside from the staircase, there are no alternate ways of accessing all levels. If you need any assistance, security and staff are here to help.

008 WireFrame invites @its_hoovy

Hoovy is the guy and everyone knows he’s the guy and he’s also a wicked Disc Jockey and certified Prod whose work sits at the intersection of Detroit-inspired techno and the rhythmic lineage of jungle and breaks.

Over the years he has shaped a sound defined by hypnotic growls and bleeps, blended with patience, fusing of 90s textures with contemporary techno frameworks.

Dedicated to vinyl and careful selection, his sets emphasise atmosphere, tension, and sonic integrity. This approach has positioned him as a respected figure within the underground, known for both his musical depth and his steady involvement in the community.

We can’t wait to welcome him on the show this week.

This July marks Play’s first birthday, so we’re celebrating with a night of curated dance music and birthday shenanigans @solace.bar. Bring your best dance moves for this birthday speciale on Thursday the 2nd of July.

The Club hosts a trio of Naarm’s finest, pushing underground hypnotic sounds, rolling basslines through the Funktion-One Evo 2 system. Lock in and enjoy this city’s finest dancefloor.

The Bar brings some of Naarm’s finest mixologists, both behind the decks and the bar. Grab a cocktail and settle into some house-leaning selections, in collaboration with Solace Radio.

Tickets are live and available via RA link in bio.

Alternate Route - 005.

Naarm local @its_hoovy steps in with a deeper pull from his collection — dub pressure, smoked-out dubstep and broken rhythms throughout.

A familiar face around Naarm through parties and crews like Solace, Tilt Shift, 150BPM and Allure. Known for hypnotic techno, Detroit grooves and early 2000s stompers, this mix trades warehouse grooves for low-end weight.
