In a few days I officially become a Texas A&M University alumni. 🎓

~ Bachelors in Communications
~ Minor in Recreation Park & Tourism Sciences
~ Professional Event Management Certificate (PEMC)
~ Led and facilitated a conference for the Department of Homeland Security
~ Organized and executed a large-scale seafood boil event for Brookshire Brothers
~ Cum Laude

So thankful for my time here at @tamu. I’ve grown into a completely different woman than the one who walked into college, and my life has changed in ways I never imagined. I faced some of the toughest moments, even considered dropping out at one point, but HEY here I am- made it through and wouldn’t change a thing! 🥳

8 months in the making & the conference I coordinated finally came to a close on October 21st & October 22nd. 😭

I had the honor of being the lead coordinator for the 2024 Forum on Systematic Mapping of Beef Production Risks, hired by the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications, in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security’s Cross-Border Threat Screening and Supply Chain Defense.

The event began with a welcome dinner on October 21st, featuring a keynote address for our internal guests. The main conference on October 22nd included speakers, presentations, and breakout sessions focused on identifying and addressing risks in beef production. Attendees traveled from across Texas to participate. After months of planning, I’m grateful for the opportunity and pleased with how everything turned out. 🥰🥰 by @its_jennaaaaa

Now that I finally got the film back… I can share my event! 🥰 On March 23rd, I hosted a Seafood Boil with live music, giveaways, games, cocktails, themed concessions, and more. I worked for months to promote and prepare, and it was so worth it. I was hoping for 100 people to come out, I was so nervous no one would show up… and over 300 people ended up attending 😭. The event profited well, and I was recognized by the CEO of the company… I am just beyond grateful. My first-ever big event for a business, and it was very successful. It was everything I hoped it would be and so much more.

Above anything, I got to share what I do with the people I love, and it was amazing. I will never forget the people that supported me & showed up for me on such a big milestone in my life. ❤️ taken in Stage 12 by @its_jennaaaaa
