POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

30 years ago today, Dec. 22, 1995 the iconic movie “Waiting to Exhale” was released in theaters. Today, Dec. 22, 2025 I decided to do my on reenactment of one of my favorite scenes from the movie, Robin and Troy break up scene. Robin was such a bad ass independent woman and I can definitely see myself in her, which is one reason why I decided to redo this particular scene. And I’m sure we can all relate to dealing with someone like Troy lol.

I really do hope you all enjoy this one as much as we had fun filming it. Special thank you to @__iamtyrell for committing to being a part. You killed it bro!

I create these passion projects once a year because im passionate about making it in entertainment. And sometimes when they are not picking you, you have to create the moment for yourself, so here it is! All praises to God!

Actors:
Robin: @its_jericka
Troy: @__iamtyrell

Cinematography:
@brandonleekix

Fun fact: I wanted to redo this scene 2 years ago but couldn’t find a “Troy” to commit. But it was nothing but divine timing because here we are today releasing my version of this scene on the same day the movie premiered (story time coming soon)

Wow! My God I am so thankful. TONIGHT WAS A DREAM COME TRUE. To see myself up there on the BIG SCREEN has always been a dream of mine since I was a little girl.

@blemish_movie the movie wasn’t a bout me but the message behind it was so meaningful and I’m sure a lot of us can benefit from it.

@iamkingdson thank you so much, I’m so grateful for you. Tonight was so professional and the movie was AMAZING ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Side note: this is my future, just watch 🙏🏾 God I love you.

When doing God’s work lands at The International Black Film Festival. I just want to thank God for allowing me to see this day. Friday, October 2nd I attended my first film festival with @ibffnashville I am truly impressed with all the films that took place on that day.

Thank you to @kyleandky once again for the opportunity to be seen, but most importantly being seen by doing God’s work.

This was a dream come true and I’m crazy enough to believe there is more on the way. 🙌🏿✨

The happiest birthday I’ve had in a long time. I’m Highly impressed with the cities of Phoniex/Scottsdale/Tempe,AZ. From experiencing the hot air balloon 🎈 🏜️🥂✨ to ATV riding 🚵🏿‍♂️🛘 I can truly say this trip has been one for the books definitely one of my BEST trips.

Absolutely had the best experience ever checking two things off my bucket list this year. Man life is amazing, I have to give Glory to God.

The atmosphere was amazing, the beautiful skies, the mountain tops, the hot desert, the delicious food, and good vibes. I definitely have to spin the block again, I’ll be back Arizona 🤎

I was a little apprehensive about posting this because it’s been a minute since I’ve trained in heels. But hey this is my journey and it’s a marathon not a race. And I’m so grateful for this solo moment in class. Plus I was feeling every lyric in this song.

Oh, to be apart of the Atmosphere Cast during the Nashville show... what a moment. 🥹✨ This experience is truly one for the books. I never saw myself here, but God did. Forever grateful for every opportunity, every lesson, and every answered prayer. This is only the beginning. 🤍🖤♥️ #Reels #RnBTour #UsherBaby by @its_jericka

Glory to God…Grateful to be apart of the Atmosphere Cast of the @therandbtour w/ Usher. I will cherish this moment forever. I went from watching Usher music videos as a kid to experiencing this moment with him. The little girl in me is screaming right now.

Thank you to @gotamydance and @getbacklit for this amazing opportunity. I’m so glad I got to experience this. And Thank you to @usher for giving us a dreamers a chance to grace the stage with you.

After last night I could really see myself on the big stage again. In the meantime I’m going to continue to perfect my craft and go harder. I’m crazy enough to believe that another opportunity will come my way again. 🙏🏿♥️🤍🖤

But until then, the R&B Tour experience was a 10/10000 🤭☺️🥰
