1️⃣ Month until we walk for Ryleigh!
💜 For those who don’t already know, our girl Ryleigh is 1 in 26 & was diagnosed in February with CAE • Childhood Absence Epilepsy confirmed with an EEG that was performed, CAE is a type of generalized epilepsy characterized by brief, staring spells that occur in children; there is a chance that she could grow out of it and there’s a chance that she could not, so we are taking it one day at a time!

💜 This news came as a shock to us but we are working closely with a CHOP neurologist and working on getting her settled in a new routine and working with her school to get her back on track & getting her the support she needs to work though and understand this diagnosis.

🗓️ On June 7th, we will be participating in our 1st Walk for Epilepsy & have created a team called #RyRocksEpilepsy • Ryrock has been Ryleighs nickname for years and it’s only fitting that we would incorporate that into a means of support for our girlie! We’re excited to walk in support of Ry and would love to build our team! It’s 🆓 to join her team with the link below! 👇🏼
