Signing in as your 6th Miss HBCU Teen, I am Precious Rose!👸🏾

I can’t even express in words how excited and grateful I am to begin this reign! Thank you to my parents for their support and efforts, my little sister, my coach, and the entire Miss HBCU Teen pageant family!

A little about me:

I am a rising freshman at Howard University! 🦬

I’m studying journalism with plans of becoming an executive news producer! 📰

I’ve been writing and performing poetry for over four years and am a former Youth Poet Laureate!🗣️

My platform E.M.B.R.A.C.E is all about youth literacy and writing in my community! I’ve even hosted my own slam! ✍🏾

I’m so excited to bring you along my journey! ✨

FRESHMEN, YOU’RE OFFICIALLY ON THE ROUTE! 🦬🛣️

The Class of 2030 has officially signed in! From different places, backgrounds, and concentrations, we’re all headed toward the same destination: Bison BLVD

This is only the beginning of the journey, and Route 55 is here for every stop along the way. 💙

All roads lead to Route 55. 🛣️#route55 #howarduniversity #hu30 #bison #husoc by @its_preciousrose

🛣️ DID SOMEBODY SAY ROAD TRIP?!

They say all roads lead to Route 55. 🚗💨

Every journey has its twists, turns, bumps, and unexpected detours. But a bump in the road never means the journey is over. It’s about staying the course, moving forward, and making every mile count — together.

🚗 SOC President: Precious Foreman
🚗 SOC Vice President: Jamari Ledesma
🚗 SOC Secretary: Gracie Ogunbayo

One road. One journey. One destination.

The wait is over, SOC Bison. Start your engines, buckle up, and get ready for the ride of a lifetime.

🛣️ ROUTE 55 IS ON THE WAY. 💨

First week of class✔️

Today, I had the honor of being the guest speaker for the Princess of the Throne youth ministry’s “crowning” graduation ceremony at my home church! 🧡

I spoke to the girls about how your differences set you about and the importance of wearing your “crown” with confidence.

Today’s affirmation: I am different on purpose. I am crowned by God and I am called to lead.✨

“…but you probably went to Howard”❤️💙🦬

I am so excited to announce that I am your newest baby bison! This Fall I will be attending the Mecca as a Media, Journalism, and Film major with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism. 🎉

I’m so thankful for all of my support from my parents, counselor, and teachers. I cannot wait for this next chapter! #gobison #howardclassof2030 by @its_preciousrose
