☀️📖 Company Summer Diaries 📖☀️ While our company is on summer break, our artists are staying inspired in all kinds of ways. Throughout the summer, we’re following along as they travel, train, perform, teach, and discover new experiences before returning for the season ahead. This entry features Company Artist Ben Rabe. “After finishing my first season here in Boulder, my wife Kelly and I had some short trips planned throughout our summer layoff. We visited family down in Florida, and celebrated my birthday here in Colorado by taking a camping trip with company artist Sarah MacGregor, and her boyfriend Dominic. We also did a lot of hiking all over Colorado this summer. Including a hike up to Mohawk Lake, and Lake Isabelle. Kelly and I also made a return trip to Newport, RI where we had been dancing for the last four years to see the end of Newport Contemporary Ballet’s summer dance festival, and celebrate one of the dancers retiring after 13 years with the company. To wrap it all up, I will be teaching for a week at Kelly’s home studio, Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet, and creating a work for their summer fundraiser gala.” Swipe through to follow Ben’s summer adventures! 💙✨ by @its_rabe

ASCENDING RECAP // GHOST Pas de Deux ✨ Choreographed by Ben Needham-Wood with live piano by Damien Krzyzek, “GHOST” Pas de Deux was a hauntingly beautiful performance. Through graceful movement and heartfelt music, the duet explored the unseen “ghosts” we all carry — and the care it takes to love and support one another through them. 📸: @amandatiptonphotography Company Artists: Marian Faustino & Benjamin Rabe by @its_rabe
