𝑴𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒏𝒕 𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒚 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔..

I wasn’t sure if I should share this, but maybe someone needs the reminder that God is faithful even when life feels heavy.

When I found out I was expecting twins, I was scared. My first birth was a C-section, and the recovery was extremely painful because of my back issues. I knew I wouldn’t cope with that again — especially with two newborns — so I knew from the start that I had to try for a natural birth.
But this pregnancy was tough.
I’m over 35, I have back problems, and they told me one baby looked like he had hydronephrosis (kidney swelling) and was a stargazer. Your mind goes to a completely different place when you hear something like that. And the other twin was breech. I was considered high-risk, and then I developed PUPPP — a full-body rash that burns and itches nonstop. It was extremely hard.
Then at 35 weeks, things got even harder.
My own doctor told me she wouldn’t attempt a natural birth anymore and referred me to someone else. Suddenly I was at a different hospital, with a new doctor, and everything felt unfamiliar. It was overwhelming.
At 38 weeks, still no labour.
They broke my water and things stayed slow.
The new doctor suggested a very low dose of oxytocin — risky for a VBAC — but I held onto the word I felt God gave me:
“It will come to pass.”
And it did.
During the delivery, even the medical team stood there saying, “Wow.”
It was like a miracle unfolding right in front of them. My labour slowly picked up, and by God’s grace I delivered both twins naturally.
No tearing.
No complications.
A quiet miracle after a very difficult journey.

Life isn’t always smooth. Mine wasn’t.
But God carried me through every part of it.
He didn’t remove the storm, but He gave me strength inside it.
